93.28 Judgement against an absent person

٩٣۔٢٨ باب الْقَضَاءِ عَلَى الْغَائِبِ

bukhari:7180Muḥammad b. Kathīr > Sufyān > Hishām from his father > ʿĀʾishah > Hind > Lilnnabī ﷺ In Abū Sufyān a man Shaḥīḥ Faʾaḥtāj > Ākhudh from Mālih

Hind (bint ʿUtba) said to the Prophet ﷺ "Abu Sufyan is a miserly man and I need to take some money of his wealth." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Take reasonably what is sufficient for you and your children "  

البخاري:٧١٨٠حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ أَنَّ هِنْدَ قَالَتْ

لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِنَّ أَبَا سُفْيَانَ رَجُلٌ شَحِيحٌ فَأَحْتَاجُ أَنْ آخُذَ مِنْ مَالِهِ قَالَ خُذِي مَا يَكْفِيكِ وَوَلَدَكِ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ
