Anas ibn Malik said, "When the people of Yemen came, the Prophet ﷺ said, 'The people of Yemen have arrived and they have gentler hearts than you. They are the first to offer the handshake.'"

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ قَدْ أَقْبَلَ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ وَهُمْ أَرَقُّ قُلُوبًا مِنْكُمْ فَهُمْ أَوَّلُ مَنْ جَاءَ بِالْمُصَافَحَةِ

When the people of the Yemen came, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The people of the Yemen have come to you and they are first to shake hands.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَدْ جَاءَكُمْ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ وَهُمْ أَوَّلُ مَنْ جَاءَ بِالْمُصَافَحَةِ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "The people of Yemen have come to you; they have the softest hearts in faith, and wisdom is from Yemen, and understanding is from Yemen."

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَتَاكُمْ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ هُمْ أَرَقُّ قُلُوبًا الْإِيمَانُ يَمَانٍ وَالْحِكْمَةُ يَمَانِيَةٌ وَالْفِقْهُ يَمَانٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The people of Yemen will come to you, and they will have the gentlest hearts among you, and they will be the first to introduce the practice of shaking hands."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَتَاكُمْ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ وَهُمْ أَرَقُّ قُلُوبًا مِنْكُمْ وَهُمْ أَوَّلُ مَنْ جَاءَ بِالْمُصَافَحَةِ

When the people of the Yemen came, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The people of the Yemen have come to you and they are first to shake hands. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 5213)
