[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said to him, "Indeed, my sister made a vow to perform Hajj but she passed away." The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "What if she had a debt, would you not fulfill it for her?" He replied, "Yes, I would." The Prophet ﷺ then said, "So fulfill Allah's right, for He is the most deserving of fulfilling."  

البيهقي:٩٨٥٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ثنا آدَمُ ثنا شُعْبَةُ ثنا أَبُو بِشْرٍ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَبِي وَحْشِيَّةَ وَهُوَ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ إِيَاسٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

أَتَى رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ لَهُ إِنَّ أُخْتِي نَذَرَتْ أَنْ تَحُجَّ وَإِنَّهَا مَاتَتْ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَرَأَيْتَ لَوْ كَانَ عَلَيْهَا دَيْنٌ أَكُنْتَ قَاضِيَهُ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَاقْضُوا اللهَ فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِالْوَفَاءِ  

رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ آدَمَ بْنِ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ وَأَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ بُرَيْدَةَ بْنِ حُصَيْبٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَقَدْ مَضَى ذِكْرُهُ

A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said to him, "My sister vowed to perform the Hajj, but she died (before fulfilling it)." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Would you not have paid her debts if she had any?" The man said, "Yes." The Prophet ﷺ said, "So pay Allah's Rights, as He is more entitled to receive His rights."  

البخاري:٦٦٩٩ – حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ

[Machine] "A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'My sister made a vow to perform Hajj but she passed away. Should I fulfill it on her behalf?' The Prophet ﷺ asked, 'If she had a debt, would you pay it off?' The man said, 'Yes.' The Prophet ﷺ replied, 'Then fulfilling obligations to Allah is even more deserving.'"  

أحمد:٣٢٢٤ – حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنَّ أُخْتِي نَذَرَتْ أَنْ تَحُجَّ وَقَدْ مَاتَتْ؟ قَالَ أَرَأَيْتَ لَوْ كَانَ عَلَيْهَا دَيْنٌ أَكُنْتَ تَقْضِيهِ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَاللهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى أَحَقُّ بِالْوَفَاءِ
