[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "The eye is the spearhead of the devil. So when the eye sleeps, the spearhead is released."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Verily, the two eyes are the twin brothers of sleep. So when the eyes sleep, restlessness is set free."

أحمد:١٦٨٧٩ – قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ وَجَدْتُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي بِخَطِّ يَدِهِ حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ وَأَظُنُّي قَدْ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْهُ فِي الْمُذَاكَرَةِ فَلَمْ أَكْتُبْهُ وَكَانَ بَكْرٌ يَنْزِلُ الْمَدِينَةَ أَظُنُّهُ كَانَ فِي الْمِحْنَةِ كَانَ قَدْ ضُرِبَ عَلَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ فِي كِتَابِهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ الْكِلَابِيِّ أَنَّ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّالْعَيْنَيْنِ وِكَاءُ السَّهِ فَإِذَا نَامَتِ الْعَيْنَانِ اسْتُطْلِقَ الْوِكَاءُ
