[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon us while we were raising our hands in prayer and he said, "Why do I see you raising your hands as if they are the tails of galloping horses? Calm down in your prayer."
دَخَلَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَنَحْنُ رَافِعِي أَيْدِينَا فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَقَالَ مَا لِيَ أَرَاكُمْ رَافِعِي أَيْدِيكُمْ كَأَنَّهَا أَذْنَابُ خَيْلٍ شُمْسٍ اسْكُنُوا فِي الصَّلَاةِ
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us and we were raising our hands during the Salah. He said: 'Why are you raising your hands while praying, like the tails of wild horses? Stay still when you are praying.'"
خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَنَحْنُ رَافِعُو أَيْدِينَا فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَقَالَ مَا بَالُهُمْ رَافِعِينَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فِي الصَّلاَةِ كَأَنَّهَا أَذْنَابُ الْخَيْلِ الشُّمُسِ اسْكُنُوا فِي الصَّلاَةِ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon us while the people were raising their hands. The narrator Zubair said: I think( they were raising the hands) during prayer. He (the prophet) said: What is the matter, I see you raising your hands as if they are the tails of restive horses! Maintain tranquility during prayer.
دَخَلَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَالنَّاسُ رَافِعُو أَيْدِيهِمْ قَالَ زُهَيْرٌ أُرَاهُ قَالَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَقَالَ مَا لِي أَرَاكُمْ رَافِعِي أَيْدِيكُمْ كَأَنَّهَا أَذْنَابُ خَيْلٍ شُمْسٍ اسْكُنُوا فِي الصَّلاَةِ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon us while we were raising our hands in prayer, and he said, "Why do I see you raising your hands as if they were the ears of horses? Keep them calm in prayer." He then entered the mosque while we were sitting in circles. He said, "Why do I see you sitting apart?"
دَخَلَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَنَحْنُ رَافِعِو أَيْدِينَا فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَقَالَ مَا لِي أَرَاكُمْ رَافِعِي أَيْدِيكُمْ كَأَنَّهَا أَذْنَابُ خَيْلٍ شُمْسٍ اسْكُنُوا فِي الصَّلَاةِ قَالَ وَدَخَلَ عَلَيْنَا الْمَسْجِدَ وَنَحْنُ حِلَقٌ مُتَفَرِّقُونَ فَقَالَ مَا لِي أَرَاكُمْ عِزِينَ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon us while the people were raising their hands. The narrator Zubair said: I think( they were raising the hands) during prayer. دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الْمَسْجِدَ فَرَآهُمْ رَافِعِي أَيْدِيهِمْ قَالَ «مَا لَهُمْ رَافِعِي أَيْدِيهِمْ كَأَنَّهَا أَذْنَابُ خَيْلٍ شُمُسٍ؟ اسْكُنُوا فِي الصَّلَاةِ»

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ خَرَجَ عَلَيْهِمْ أُرَاهُ قَالَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَهُمْ رَافِعُوا أَيْدِيهِمْ وَقَالَ «مَا لِي أَرَاكُمْ رَافِعِي أَيْدِيكُمْ كَأَنَّهَا أَذْنَابُ خَيْلٍ شُمُسٍ اسْكُنُوا فِي الصَّلَاةِ»
