[Machine] And he said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ doing as you have seen me doing."  

البيهقي:٢٩٥ – وَمِنْهَا مَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ جَنَاحُ بْنُ نَذِيرِ بْنِ جَنَاحٍ الْقَاضِي بِالْكُوفَةِ أنا أَبُو جَعْفَرِ بْنُ دُحَيْمٍ أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ أنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ أنا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ جَمْرَةَ عَنْ شَقِيقِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ يَتَوَضَّأُ فَغَسَلَ كَفَّيْهِ ثَلَاثًا وَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ ثَلَاثًا وَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا وَغَسَلَ ذِرَاعَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ ثَلَاثًا وَأُذُنَيْهِ ظَاهِرِهِمَا وَبَاطِنِهِمَا وَخَلَّلَ لِحْيَتَهُ وَغَسَلَ قَدْمَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا وَخَلَّلَ أَصَابِعَ قَدْمَيْهِ

وَقَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَعَلَ كَمَا رَأَيْتُمُونِي فَعَلْتُ

إِنَّمَا أَفْعَلُ كَمَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَفْعَلُ

"We prayed with Abdullah bin Mas'ud in his house. He stood between us and we placed our hands on our knees, but he took them off and made us interlace our fingers, and said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do that.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1030)
