[Machine] I was one of seven with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . He commanded us to gather a dirham for each of us, so we bought a sacrificial animal for seven dirhams. We said, "O Messenger of Allah, it is too expensive for us!" The Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed, the best sacrifice is the most expensive, fattest one." So a man took hold of a leg, another took hold of a leg, and similarly a man took hold of a hand, another of a hand, two others took hold of a horn each. The seventh one slaughtered it and we all said the takbeer.  

كُنْتُ سَابِعَ سَبْعَةٍ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ فَأَمَرَنَا نَجْمَعُ لِكُلِّ رَجُلٍ مِنَّا دِرْهَمًا فَاشْتَرَيْنَا أُضْحِيَّةً بِسَبْعَةِ الدَّرَاهِمِ فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لَقَدْ أَغْلَيْنَا بِهَا؟ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِنَّ أَفْضَلَ الضَّحَايَا أَغْلَاهَا وَأَسْمَنُهَا وَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَخَذَ رَجُلٌ بِرِجْلٍ وَرَجُلٌ بِرِجْلٍ وَرَجُلٌ بِيَدٍ وَرَجُلٌ بِيَدٍ وَرَجُلٌ بِقَرْنٍ وَرَجُلٌ بِقَرْنٍ وَذَبَحَهَا السَّابِعُ وَكَبَّرْنَا عَلَيْهَا جَمِيعًا  

[Machine] "I was the seventh of seven companions with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey. We reached the time of Eid al-Adha and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ instructed us to each contribute a silver coin. We bought a sacrificial animal for seven silver coins and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, we have spent a lot on it.' He replied, 'The best sacrifices are the most expensive and fattest ones.' Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ instructed us, and a man held one leg, another held another leg, one man held a hand, another held the other hand, one man held a horn, and another held the other horn, and they slaughtered the animal and all of us joined in saying takbeer (Allahu Akbar). Uthman ibn Zafar is trustworthy."  

كُنْتُ سَابِعَ سَبْعَةٍ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي سَفَرِهِ فَأَدْرَكَنَا الْأَضْحَى فَأَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَجَمَعَ كُلُّ رَجُلٍ مِنَّا دِرْهَمًا فَاشْتَرَيْنَا أُضْحِيَّةً بِسَبْعَةِ دَرَاهِمَ وَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَقَدْ غَلِينَا بِهَا فَقَالَ «إِنَّ أَفْضَلَ الضَّحَايَا أَغْلَاهَا وَأَسْمَنُهَا» قَالَ ثُمَّ أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَأَخَذَ رَجُلٌ بِرِجْلٍ وَرَجُلٌ بِرِجْلٍ وَرَجُلٌ بِيَدٍ وَرَجُلٌ بِيَدٍ وَرَجُلٌ بِقَرْنٍ وَرَجُلٌ بِقَرْنٍ وَذَبَحَ السَّابِعُ وَكَبِّرُوا عَلَيْهَا جَمِيعًاعثمان بن زفر ثقة  

"عَنْ أَبِي الأَسَدِ السُّلَميِّ، عَنْ أَبيه، عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ: كُنْتُ سَابِعَ سَبْعَةٍ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَجَمَعَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ دِرْهَمًا فَاشَتَرْيَنَا أُضْحِيَةً بِسَبْعَةِ دَرَاهِمَ، فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُول اللهِ لَقَدْ أَغْلَيْنَا بِهَا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِنَّ أَفْضَلَ الضَّحَايَا عَنْدَ اللهِ أَغْلَاهَا وَأَسْمَنُهَا فَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ رَجُلًا فأَخَذَ بِيَدٍ وَرَجُلًا بِيَدٍ، وَرَجُلًا بِرِجْلٍ، وَرَجُلًا بِرجْلٍ، وَرَجُلًا بِقَرْنٍ وَرَجُلًا بِقَرْنٍ، وَذَبَحَهَا السَّابِعُ، وَكَبَّرْنَا عَلَيْهَا جَمِيعًا، قَالَ بَقِيَّةُ: فَقُلْتُ لِحَمَّادِ ابْنِ زَيْدٍ: مَنِ السَّابِعُ؟ قَالَ: لَا أَدْرِي، فَقُلْتُ: رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ".
