Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If anyone of you can get one rakʿa of the ʿAsr prayer before sunset, he should complete his prayer. If any of you can get one rakʿa of the Fajr prayer before sunrise, he should complete his prayer." (Using translation from Bukhārī 556)   

البيهقي:١٧٧٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ جَنَاحُ بْنُ نَذِيرِ بْنِ جَنَاحٍ الْقَاضِي الْمُحَارِبِيُّ بِالْكُوفَةِ ثنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ دُحَيْمٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحُسَيْنِ ثنا الْفَضْلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ دُكَيْنٍ ثنا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

"If any one of you catches the first prostration of 'Asr prayer before the sun sets, let him complete his prayer, and if he catches up with the first prostration of Fajr prayer before the sub rises, let him complete his prayer."  

النسائي:٥١٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ دُكَيْنٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

suyuti:1067a –

السيوطي:١٠٦٧a –

"إذا أَدرك أحدكم سجدةً في صلاةِ العصرِ قبلَ أن تغرُبَ الشمسُ فَليُتِمَّ صلاتَه، وإذا أدرك سجدة من صلاةِ الصبحِ قبل أن تطلع الشمسُ فليُتِمَّ صلاتَه".
