I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The ˹married˺ man and a woman, if they commit adultery, then absolutely stone them." (Using translation from Ḥākim 8072)   

البيهقي:١٦٩١٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ فُورَكٍ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ يُونُسَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ الصَّلْتِ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَكْتُبُونَ الْمَصَاحِفَ عِنْدَ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ فَأَتَوْا عَلَى هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ فَقَالَ زَيْدٌ

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ الشَّيْخُ وَالشَّيْخَةُ إِذَا زَنَيَا فَارْجُمُوهُمَا الْبَتَّةَ نَكَالًا مِنَ اللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ
