[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ who said, "A man will come holding another man's hand and say, 'O Lord, this man killed me.' Allah will then ask, 'Why did you kill him?' He will reply, 'To establish honor for so-and-so.' Allah will say, 'Indeed, honor does not belong to so-and-so due to his sin.'"  

البيهقي:١٦٨٠٢أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ غَالِبٍ حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدَةَ ثنا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ شَقِيقِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ يَجِيءُ الرَّجُلُ آخِذًا بِيَدِ الرَّجُلِ فَيَقُولُ يَا رَبِّ هَذَا قَتَلَنِي قَالَ فَيَقُولُ اللهُ لِمَ قَتَلْتَهُ؟ فَيَقُولُ لِتَكُونَ الْعِزَّةُ لِفُلَانٍ فَيَقُولُ فَإِنَّهَا لَيْسَتْ لِفُلَانٍ بُؤْ بِذَنَبِهِ

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , he said, "A man comes holding the hand of another man and says, 'O Lord, this man has killed me.' Allah (God) asks, 'Why did you kill him?' He replies, 'To gain honor for myself.' Allah says, 'Indeed, it does not belong to you.' Then, another man comes holding the hand of another man and says, 'O Lord, this man has killed me.' Allah asks, 'Why did you kill him?' He replies, 'I killed him to seek honor for so-and-so.' Allah says, 'Indeed, it is not for him by your sin.'"

"يَجِئُ الرَّجُلُ آخِذًا بيَدِ الرَّجُلِ فَيَقُولُ: رَبِّ إِنَّ هَذَا قَتَلنِى، فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ: لِمَ قَتَلْتَهُ؟ فَيَقُولُ: قَتَلْتُهُ لِتَكُونَ الْعِزَّةُ لَكَ، فَيَقُولُ: فَإنَّهَا لِى، وَيَجِئُ الرَّجُلُ آخِذًا بِيَدِ الرَّجُلِ فَيَقُولُ: يَا رَبِّ إِنَّ هَذَا قَتَلَنِى، فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ: لِمَ قَتَلتَهُ؟ فَيَقُولُ: لِتَكُونَ الْعِزَّةُ لِفُلانٍ، فَإِنَّهَا لَيْسَتْ لِفُلانٍ، فَيَبُوءُ بِإِثْمِهِ".
