The Prophet ﷺ said, "The honorable is the son of the honorable, the son the honorable, i.e. Joseph, the son of Jacob, the son of Isaac, the son of Abraham. (Using translation from Bukhārī 3382)  

أحمد:٥٧١٢ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

Yusuf (Joseph) is the son of Yaqub (Jacob), who is the son of Ishaq (Isaac), who is the son of Ibrahim (Abraham), the Prophet of Allah. He is the son of the Prophet of Allah, who is the son of the Prophet of Allah, who is the son of the Khalil (friend) of Allah."  

الحاكم:٤٠٨٣ – حَدَّثَنَا مُكْرَمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْقَاضِي بِبَغْدَادَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُلَاعِبِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ الْكَرِيمَ ابْنَ الْكَرِيمِ ابْنِ الْكَرِيمِ ابْنِ الْكَرِيمِ يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ ابْنُ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ ابْنِ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ ابْنِ خَلِيلِ اللَّهِ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ

ذِكْرُ الْخَبَرِ الدَّالِّ عَلَى أَنَّ افْتِخَارَ الْمَرْءِ بِالْكَرْمِ يَجِبُ أَنْ يَكُونَ بِالدِّينِ لَا بِالدُّنْيَا

ابن حبّان:٥٧٧٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نَصْرٍ التَّمَّارُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْكَرِيمُ ابْنُ الْكَرِيمِ ابْنِ الْكَرِيمِ ابْنِ الْكَرِيمِ يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ»
