that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "O Allah! Honor Islam through the most dear of these two men to you: Through Abu Jahl or through 'Umar bin Al-Khattab." He said: "And the most dear of them to Him was 'Umar." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3681)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ اللهُمَّ أَعِزَّ الْإِسْلَامَ بِأَحَبِّ هَذَيْنِ الرَّجُلَيْنِ إِلَيْكَ بِأَبِي جَهْلٍ أَوْ بِعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ فَكَانَ أَحَبُّهُمَا إِلَى اللهِ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ
that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "O Allah! Honor Islam through the most dear of these two men to you: Through Abu Jahl or through 'Umar bin Al-Khattab." He said: "And the most dear of them to Him was 'Umar."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ أَعِزَّ الإِسْلاَمَ بِأَحَبِّ هَذَيْنِ الرَّجُلَيْنِ إِلَيْكَ بِأَبِي جَهْلٍ أَوْ بِعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ وَكَانَ أَحَبَّهُمَا إِلَيْهِ عُمَرُ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Allah, strengthen the religion through (the love and support of) these two men to You: Abu Jahl Ibn Hisham or Umar Ibn Al-Khattab."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «اللَّهُمَّ أَعِزَّ الدِّينَ بِأَحَبِّ هَذَيْنِ الرَّجُلَيْنِ إِلَيْكَ بِأَبِي جَهْلِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ أَوْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ»
"اللَّهُمَّ أَعِزَّ الإِسْلامَ بِأحبِ هَذَينِ الرَّجُلَينِ إِلَيكَ، بِعُمَرَ بن الخَطَّابِ، أوْ بأبى جَهْلِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ" .
"اللَّهُمَّ أعِزَّ الإِسْلامَ بِعُمَرَ بن الخَطَّابِ، اللَهَّمَّ وَأعِز عُمَرَ بْنَ الخطابِ ".
"عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَن رَسُولَ الله ﷺ قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ أعِزَّ الإِسْلامَ بِأَحَبِّ هَذَيْنِ الرَّجُلَيْنِ إِلَيْكَ: بِعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ أَوْ بِأَبِى جَهْل بْنِ هِشَامٍ، فَكانَ أَحَبُّهُمَا إِلَى الله عُمَرَ ابْنَ الْخَطَّابِ".
