BAYHAQI 2356:
from ʿAbdullāh b. Masʿūd ؓ —
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , used to say in his prayer and in the hadith of Waraqah, "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , taught us to say, 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the accursed Satan, his whispers, his blowing, and his spitting.' Ata' said, 'His whispering is death, his spitting is poetry, and his blowing is arrogance.' Hammad ibn Salamah narrated this from Ata' and stopped at this point."
