[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The accused has the right of precedence with the right hand."  

أحمد:٣٣٤٨ – حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ كَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْمُدَّعَى عَلَيْهِ أَوْلَى بِالْيَمِينِ

Ibn ʿAbbas wrote that the Prophet ﷺ gave his verdict on the basis of the defendant's oath.  

البخاري:٢٦٦٨ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعُ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ قَالَ كَتَبَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَضَى بِالْيَمِينِ عَلَى الْمُدَّعَى عَلَيْهِ  

muslim:1711b – Abū Bakr b. Abū Shaybah > Muḥammad b. Bishr > Nāfiʿ b. ʿUmar > Ibn Abū Mulaykah > Ibn ʿAbbās

Ibn 'Abbas reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ pronounced judgment on the basis of oath by the defendant.  

مسلم:١٧١١b – وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَضَى بِالْيَمِينِ عَلَى الْمُدَّعَى عَلَيْهِ  

abudawud:3619 – ʿAbdullāh b. Maslamah al-Qaʿnabī > Nāfiʿ b. ʿUmar > Ibn Abū Mulaykah > Katab Ila Ibn ʿAbbās

Ibn ‘Abbas wrote to me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺhad defendant should take an oath.  

أبو داود:٣٦١٩ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ الْقَعْنَبِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعُ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ قَالَ كَتَبَ إِلَىَّ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَضَى بِالْيَمِينِ عَلَى الْمُدَّعَى عَلَيْهِ  

bayhaqi:21222 – Abū ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥāfiẓ > Abū al-Walīd > Jaʿfar b. Aḥmad > ʿAlī b. Ḥujr > Ismāʿīl b. ʿAyyāsh > al-Muthanná b. al-Ṣabbāḥ > ʿAmr b. Shuʿayb from his father from his grandfather

[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ said: "The one who is accused is more deserving of the right-hand testimony than the one who has not been presented with clear evidence."  

البيهقي:٢١٢٢٢ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنِ الْمُثَنَّى بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ الْمُدَّعَى عَلَيْهِ أَوْلَى بِالْيَمِينِ مِمَّنْ لَمْ تَقُمْ لَهُ بَيِّنَةٌ
