[Machine] "While we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in our rows during the Zuhr or Asr prayer, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ took something and delayed his prayer. So, the people also delayed their prayer. When he finished the prayer, Ubay ibn Ka'b asked him about something he had done during the prayer that he had never done before. He replied, 'Paradise was presented to me with its fruits and beauty, so I took a grape from it to bring it to you. If I had brought it to you, whoever is between the heavens and the earth would have eaten from it and it would not have decreased.' Then, Hellfire was presented to me, but when I saw its sparks, I refrained from it. It contained the most women I had ever seen who would betray their trusts and be stingy when asked and be insistent when requested. Husayn said, 'And I saw in it Luhayy ibn 'Amr dragging his intestines in the fire. He resembled Ma'bad ibn Aktham al-Ka'bi.' Ma'bad said, 'O Messenger of Allah, should I fear him when he is my father?' He said, 'No, you are a believer and he is a disbeliever.' Husayn said, 'He was the first to lead the Arabs into idol worship.' Husayn said, 'I refrained from it and if it were not for that, it would have covered you.'  

بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي صُفُوفِنَا فِي الصَّلَاةِ صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ أَوِ الْعَصْرِ فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَتَنَاوَلُ شَيْئًا ثُمَّ تَأَخَّرَ فَتَأَخَّرَ النَّاسُ فَلَمَّا قَضَى الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ لَهُ أُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ شَيْئًا صَنَعْتَهُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ لَمْ تَكُنْ تَصْنَعُهُ قَالَ عُرِضَتْعَلَيَّ الْجَنَّةُ بِمَا فِيهَا مِنَ الزَّهْرَةِ وَالنَّضْرَةِ فَتَنَاوَلْتُ مِنْهَا قِطْفًا مِنْ عِنَبٍ لِآتِيَكُمْ بِهِ فَحِيلَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ وَلَوْ أَتَيْتُكُمْ بِهِ لَأَكَلَ مِنْهُ مَنْ بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ لَا يُنْقِصُونَهُ شَيْئًا ثُمَّ عُرِضَتْ عَلَيَّ النَّارُ فَلَمَّا وَجَدْتُ سَفْعَهَا تَأَخَّرْتُ عَنْهَا وَأَكْثَرُ مَنْ رَأَيْتُ فِيهَا النِّسَاءُ اللَّاتِي إِنْ اؤْتُمِنَّ أَفْشَيْنَ وَإِنْ يُسْأَلْنَ بَخِلْنَ وَإِنْ يَسْأَلْنَ أَلْحَفْنَ قَالَ حُسَيْنٌ وَإِنْ أُعْطِينَ لَمْ يَشْكُرْنَ وَرَأَيْتُ فِيهَا لُحَيَّ بْنَ عَمْرٍو يَجُرُّ قُصْبَهُ فِي النَّارِ وَأَشْبَهُ مَنْ رَأَيْتُ بِهِ مَعْبَدُ بْنُ أَكْثَمَ الْكَعْبِيُّ قَالَ مَعْبَدٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَيُخْشَى عَلَيَّ مِنْ شَبَهِهِ وَهُوَ وَالِدٌ؟ فَقَالَ لَا أَنْتَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَهُوَ كَافِرٌ قَالَ حُسَيْنٌ وَكَانَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ حَمَلَ الْعَرَبَ عَلَى عِبَادَةِ الْأَوْثَانِ قَالَ حُسَيْنٌ تَأَخَّرْتُ عَنْهَا وَلَوْلَا ذَلِكَ لَغَشِيَتْكُمْ  

[Machine] While we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the Dhuhr prayer, the people were in rows behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . We saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ consuming something, so he continued to consume it. As a result, he delayed, and the people also delayed. Then the second row delayed, and the people delayed. So I said, "O Messenger of Allah, we saw you doing something today that you do not usually do in prayer." He said, "Indeed, Paradise was presented to me, and it contains flowers and lush greenery. So I consumed a bunch of its grapes. If I had taken it, the people between heaven and earth would not be able to finish it. Then Hellfire was presented to me, and when I saw its sparks, I retreated from it. And I saw many women in it. They are the ones who reveal secrets and betray trusts, and when asked for something, they are stingy, and when given, they do not show gratitude. And I saw 'Amr bin Luha dragging his intestines in Hellfire, resembling the most similar person I have seen to him, Ma'bad bin Aktham Al-Khuza'i." Ma'bad said, "O Messenger of Allah, do you fear for me because of his resemblance? He is my father." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You are a believer, and he is a disbeliever. He was the first to lead the Arabs in the worship of idols."  

بَيْنَا نَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ وَالنَّاسُ فِي الصُّفُوفِ خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَرَأَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَتَنَاوَلُ شَيْئًا فَجَعَلَ يَتَنَاوَلُهُ فَتَأَخَّرَ وَتَأَخَّرَ النَّاسُ ثُمَّ تَأَخَّرَ الثَّانِيَةَ فَتَأَخَّرَ النَّاسُ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ رَأَيْنَاكَ صَنَعْتَ الْيَوْمَ شَيْئًا مَا كُنْتَ تَصْنَعُهُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَقَالَ «إِنَّهُ عُرِضَتْ عَلَيَّ الْجَنَّةُ بِمَا فِيهَا مِنَ الزَّهْرَةِ وَالنَّضْرَةِ فَتَنَاوَلْتُ قِطْفًا مِنْ عِنَبِهَا وَلَوْ أَخَذْتُهُ لَأَكَلَ مِنْهُ مَنْ بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ لَا يُنْقِصُونَهُ فَحِيلَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ وَعُرِضَتْ عَلَيَّ النَّارُ فَلَمَّا وَجَدْتُ سَفْعَتَهَا تَأَخَّرْتُ عَنْهَا وَأَكْثَرُ مَنْ رَأَيْتُ فِيهَا مِنَ النِّسَاءِ إِنِ ائْتُمِنَّ أَفْشَيْنَ وَإِنْ سَأَلْنَ أَلْحَفْنَ وَإِذَا سُئِلْنَ بَخِلْنَ وَإِذَا أُعْطِينَ لَمْ يَشْكُرْنَ وَرَأَيْتُ فِيهَا عَمْرَو بْنَ لُحَيٍّ يَجُرُّ قُصْبَهُ فِي النَّارِ وَأَشْبَهُ مَنْ رَأَيْتُ بِهِ مَعْبَدُ بْنُ أَكْثَمَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ» فَقَالَ مَعْبَدٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَتَخْشَى عَلَيَّ مِنْ شَبَهِهِ فَإِنَّهُ وَالِدِي؟ فَقَالَ «لَا أَنْتَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَهُوَ كَافِرٌ وَهُوَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ حَمَلَ الْعَرَبَ عَلَى عِبَادَةِ الْأَصْنَامِ»  

"إِنَّه عُرِضتْ علىَّ الجنةُ بِمَا فيهَا مِن الزَّهْرَةِ والنَّضْرةِ، فتناولتُ قِطفًا من عِنَبِها لآتيكم به، ولوْ أَخذتُه لأَكل مِنْه مَنْ بيْنَ السَّماءِ والأَرضِ لا ينقُصُونه فحيل بينى وبيْنَه، وعُرضِتْ علىَّ النَّارُ، فلمَّا وجدتُ حرَّ شُعاعِها تأَخرتُ، وأَكثرُ مَنْ رأيتُ فيها النِّساءَ الَّلاتى إِنِ اؤْتُمِنَّ أَفشيْنَ، وإِنْ سُئِلن أَخْفيْن، وإِنْ أُعْطِيَن لمْ يَشْكُرْنَ، ورأيتُ فيها عمْرَو بن لُحَىٍّ يَجُر قُصُبَه في النَّارِ وأَشبَهُ مَنْ رأَيتُ به مَعْبد بْنُ أَكْثمَ، فقال معْبدُ: يا رسولَ اللَّهِ أَيُخْشَى علىَّ مِنْ شَبَهِه؟ قال لا، أَنْت مُؤْمنٌ وَهُوَ كَافرٌ، وهُوَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ جمَع العربَ على الأصنام ".  

"عُرِضَتْ عَلَيَّ الْجَنَّة بِمَا فِيها مِنَ الزَّهْرَة، فَتَنَاوَلْتُ مِنْهَا قِطْفًا مِنْ عِنَب لآتِيكُمْ بِه فَحِيلَ بَينِي وَبَينَهُ، وَلَوْ أَتَيتُكُمْ بِهِ لأَكَلَ مِنْهُ مَنْ بَينَ السَّمَاء والأَرْضِ، ولَا يَنْقُصُ مِنْهُ، ثُمَّ عُرِضَتْ عَلَيَّ النَّارُ، فَلَمَّا وَجَدْتُ سَمعَهَا تأَخَّرْتُ عَنْهَا, وأَكْثَرُ مَنْ رأَيتُ فِيهَا النِّساءُ اللَّاتِي إِن ائْتُمِنَّ أَفْشينَ، وإِنْ سَأَلْنَ أَلْحَفْنَ، وإِنْ سُئِلنَ بَحلْنَ، ورأَيتُ فِيهَا عَمْرو بْنَ لُحَيٍّ يَجُرُّ قُصْبَهُ في النَّارِ، وأشْبَهُ مَنْ رأَيتُ بِهِ مَعْبدُ بْنُ أَكْتَمَ الكَعْبِي، فَقَال مَعْبَدُ: يا رسوُلَ اللهِ، أَيُخْشَى عَلَيَّ مِنْ شَبَهِهِ وَهُوَ والدِيِ؟ ، قال: لا، أَنْتَ مُؤمِنٌ وَهُوَ كَافِرٌ، وَكَانَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ حَمَلَ الْعَرَبَ علَى عِبَادَة الأصْنَامِ".
