“Whoever finds lost property, let him ask one or two men of good character to witness it, then he should not alter it nor conceal it. If its owner comes along, then he has more right to it, otherwise it belongs to Allah (SWT), Who gives it to whomsoever He wills.”  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ وَجَدَ لُقَطَةً فَلْيُشْهِدْ ذَا عَدْلٍ أَوْ ذَوَىْ عَدْلٍ ثُمَّ لاَ يُغَيِّرْهُ وَلاَ يَكْتُمْ فَإِنْ جَاءَ رَبُّهَا فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهَا وَإِلاَّ فَهُوَ مَالُ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ  

“Whoever finds lost property, let him ask one or two men of good character to witness it, then he should not alter it nor conceal it. أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنِ الْتَقَطَ لُقَطَةً فَلْيُشْهِدْ ذَوِي عَدْلٍ ثُمَّ لَا يَكْتُمُ وَلَا يُغَيِّرُ فَإِنْ جَاءَ صَاحِبُهَا فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهَا وَإِلَّا فَهُوَ مَالُ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Whoever finds a lost item, should testify to its ownership, take care of its keys and locks, and not hide or conceal it. If the owner comes forward, then it should be returned to them. But if the owner does not come forward, then it will be considered as the property of Allah, who gives it to whomsoever He wills."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ أَخَذَ لُقَطَةً فَلْيُشْهِدْ ذَوِي عَدْلٍ وَلْيَحْفَظْ عِفَاصَهَا وَوِكَاءَهَا وَلَا يَكْتُمْ وَلَا يُغَيِّبْ فَإِنْ جَاءَ صَاحِبُهَا فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهَا وَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِئْ صَاحِبُهَا فَهُوَ مَالُ اللهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ»

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنِ الْتَقَطَ لُقَطَةً فَلْيُشْهِدْ ذَوَيْ عَدْلٍ أَوْ ذَا عَدْلٍ وَلَا يَكْتُمْ وَلَا يُغَيِّبْ فَإِنْ جَاءَ صَاحِبُهَا فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهَا وَإِلَّا فَهُوَ مَالُ اللهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ  

"مَنْ وَجَدَ لُقَطَةً فَليُشْهِدْ ذَوَى عَدْلٍ ولا يَكْتُمْ ولا يُغيِّبْ، فإِنْ وَجَدَ صَاحِبَهَا فَليَرُدَّها عَلَيه، وإلا فَهُوَ مالُ اللهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ".  

"مَنْ الْتَقَطَ لُقَطَةً فَليُشْهِدْ ذَوَىْ عَدْلٍ، ثم لا يَكْتُم وَلا يُغَيِّر، فَإِنْ جَاءَ صَاحِبُها فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِها، وَإِلا فَهُوَ مَالُ الله يُؤْتِيه مَن يَشَاءُ".
