[Machine] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the pulpit on Friday, and he did not say anything except like this and he pointed with his index finger.  

أحمد:١٧٢١٩ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ رُوَيْبَةَ الثَّقَفِيِّ قَالَ رَأَى بِشْرَ بْنَ مَرْوَانَ رَافِعًا يَدَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَقَالَ

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَمَا يَقُولُ إِلَّا هَكَذَا وَأَشَارَ بِإِصْبَعِهِ السَّبَّابَةِ

ahmad:17221 – Wakīʿ > Sufyān > Ḥuṣayn > Bishr b. Marwān Rafaʿ Yadayh Yawm al-Jumuʿah > al-Minbar

Bishr bin Marwan raised his hands on Friday on the minbar, and 'Umarah bin Ruwaibah condemned him and said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did no more than this,' and he pointed with his forefinger. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1412)   

أحمد:١٧٢٢١ – حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ أَنَّ بِشْرَ بْنَ مَرْوَانَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَقَالَ

عُمَارَةُ بْنُ رُوَيْبَةَ مَا زَادَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى هَذَا وَأَشَارَ بِإِصْبَعِهِ السَّبَّابَةِ

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "I was sent, and the Hour is like this," while he pointed with his index and middle fingers.

[Machine] "And he said, 'I have seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the pulpit, and he does not say anything with his finger except like this, and he pointed with his index finger at his side.'"  

الدارمي:١٦٠٢ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ رُوَيْبَةَ قَالَ رَأَى بِشْرَ بْنَ مَرْوَانَ رَافِعًا يَدَيْهِ يَدْعُو عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَالَ فَسَبَّهُ

وَقَالَ «لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ وَمَا يَقُولُ بِأُصْبُعِهِ إِلَّا هَكَذَا وَأَشَارَ بِالسَّبَّابَةِ عِنْدَ الْخَاصِرَةِ »
