Virtue of sending salat and salam on the Prophet ﷺ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out and headed towards his charity. He entered and faced the qibla, then prostrated, prolonging the prostration until I thought that Allah had taken his soul in it. So, I approached him, then I sat down. He raised his head and said, "Who is this?" I said, "Abdul Rahman." He said, "What is your concern?" I said, "O Messenger of Allah, you prostrated out of fear that Allah may have taken your soul in it."
He said, "Indeed, Gabriel came to me and gave me glad tidings. He said, 'Allah says, whoever sends blessings upon you, I send blessings upon him, and whoever sends peace upon you, I send peace upon him.' So, I prostrated to Allah, giving thanks."
