[Machine] "He saw the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, performing ablution and then drying his hands three times. So I asked him, 'For what did he dry his hands three times?' He said, 'He washed his hands three times.'"
أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ «تَوَضَّأَ فَاسْتَوْكَفَ ثَلَاثًا» فَقُلْتُ أَنَا لَهُ أَيُّ شَيْءٍ اسْتَوْكَفَ ثَلَاثًا؟ قَالَ «غَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا»
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ performed ablution and then wiped his hands three times. Shu'bah said that the Prophet was an Arab man, so I asked him, "What did he wipe?" He said, "He washed his hands three times."

" عَنْ أوْسِ عَنْ أبِى أوْسٍ أَنَّهُ رَأى النَّبِىَّ ﷺ تَوَضَّأ فَاسْتَوْكَفَ ثَلاثًا، قِيلَ لَهُ: مَا اسْتَوْكَفَ ؟ قَالَ: غَسَلَ فضل يَدَيْهِ ثَلاثًا ".
