[Machine] I was walking on foot in the outskirts of the passengers' camp when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ struck it with a hit or he said, he stabbed it with a spear, and then it limped. He said, "After that, it would always be at the forefront of the camels except for what I pardoned." He said, "Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to me and said, 'Will you follow it with me by this and that, and Allah will forgive you?' I said, 'It is yours, O Messenger of Allah.' He said, 'Will you follow it with me by this and that, and Allah will forgive you?' I said, 'It is yours, O Messenger of Allah.' Sulayman said, 'I do not know how many times he said, 'Will you follow it with me by this and that?' Then he said, 'Have you married after your father?' I said, 'Yes.' He said, 'Was she a virgin or previously married?' I said, 'Previously married.' He said, 'Didn't you marry her as a virgin to play with her and she plays with you, and she makes you laugh and you make her laugh?'

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade eating of onions and leek. When we were overpowered by a desire (to eat) we ate them. Upon this he (the Holy Prophet) said: He who eats of this offensive plant must not approach our mosque, for the angels are harmed by the same things as men. (Using translation from Muslim 564a)

[Machine] The sun was eclipsed during the time of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ on a very hot day. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ prayed with his companions, prolonging the standing until they started to lose their balance. Then he performed a prolonged bowing, lifting his head and prolonging it, then he performed another prolonged bowing, lifting his head and prolonging it, then he prostrated twice, and then stood up and performed the same actions. He then moved forward and backward twice, making it a total of four units of prayer and four prostrations. Then he said, "Everything that you have been promised was presented to me. Paradise was shown to me, and if I had taken a date or a fruit from it, I would have taken it. It was shown to me and my hand was withdrawn from it by Hisham's doubt. Hellfire was also shown to me, and I saw a dark-skinned, tall woman being punished in a cat for tying it up and not feeding it or giving it water, nor allowing it to eat from the earth's vegetation. I also saw Abu Thumamah Amr ibn Malik dragging his intestines in the fire, and they are both signs from the signs of Allah that I have shown you. So when it happens, then pray until it clears."

[Machine] We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a palm grove when he prayed the Zuhr prayer with his companions. The polytheists understood their prayer and said, "Leave them, for they have a prayer after this one that is more beloved to them than their own children." Then Jibril descended to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and informed him, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed with his companions. He lined them up in two rows, and he stood in front of them. They all made the takbeer and then those who were behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the others prostrated, while the rest remained standing. When those who had prostrated raised their heads, the others prostrated, and when they stood up for the second rak'ah, those behind the first row were delayed and the people in the second row advanced to the first row. So, they all bowed down together, and when they raised their heads from the bow, those who had been behind the Prophet ﷺ and the others prostrated while standing. And when they raised their heads, the others prostrated.

[Machine] Regarding ablution from the touch of fire on food, he said, "I went out looking for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in his mosque, but I did not find him. So I asked about him and I was told that he was with the Banat Sa‘d bin Ar-Rabi‘ bin Al-Khazraj, dividing the inheritance between them." He said, "Being the first women to inherit in Islam." He said, "So I went out until I came to the Aswaf, which was the property of Sa‘d bin Ar-Rabi‘. I found the Messenger of Allah ﷺ there in a grove of palm trees with his face shaded. I brought him a meal of bread and meat that had been prepared for him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate, and the people ate with him." He said, "Then he prayed Dhuhr, and the people prayed with him. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat in part of what was left of his portion until the time for prayer came and he was done with them. Then they presented to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ the leftover food from his bread and meat, and he ate and the people ate with him. Then he got up and prayed Asr with us, and no one from the people or the water touched him until he performed ablution."

The Prophet ﷺ sacrificed two horned rams which were white with black markings and had been castrated. When he made them face the qiblah, he said: I have turned my face towards Him. Who created the heavens and the earth, following Abraham's religion, the true in faith, and I am not one of the polytheists. My prayer, and my service of sacrifice, my life and my death are all for Allah, the Lord of the Universe, Who has no partner. That is what I was commanded to do, and I am one of the Muslims. O Allah it comes from Thee and is given to Thee from Muhammad and his people. In the name of Allah, and Allah is Most Great. He then made sacrifice. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2795)

[Machine] I went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the battle of Dhatus Riqa'a riding on a weak camel. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ halted, the companions continued moving forward, while I stayed behind until the Messenger of Allah ﷺ caught up with me. He asked, "What's wrong, Jabir?" I said, "O Messenger of Allah, my camel is slow." He said, "Unleash it, and I will unleash mine." Then he said, "Give me this stick from your hand, or cut a stick for me from a tree." I did so. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took it and struck with it a few times. Then he said, "Ride." So, I rode and he left with his she-camel, which was difficult to restrain. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ spoke to me and said, "Will you give me this camel, Jabir?" I said, "Rather, I gift it to you." He replied, "No, rather, you have loaned it to me." I said, "In that case, name your price." He said, "I have taken it for one dirham." I said, "No, Messenger of Allah, in that case, you have deceived me." He asked, "For two dirhams?" I responded, "No." He continued raising the price until he reached two hundred dirhams. I said, "Yes, now I am satisfied." He asked, "Are you really satisfied?" I said, "Yes." He then said, "It is yours." He asked me, "O Jabir, have you married after that?" I said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He asked, "A virgin or a previously married woman?" I said, "No, rather a previously married woman." He asked, "Aren't there young girls whom you can play with and they can play with you?" I said, "O Messenger of Allah, my father was martyred on the day of Uhud, leaving behind seven daughters. So, I married a woman who could take care of them." The Prophet ﷺ said, "You have done the right thing, Insha'Allah." He then said, "If we come across some loot, we will command the butchers to slaughter it, and we will stay there until you come. If you hear about any robbers attacking, disperse and abandon everything you have." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, we don't have any belongings." He said, "When you reach there, do a good deed." I said, "The Messenger of Allah then commanded that the loot be slaughtered and we stayed there until evening. When evening came, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered and we entered with him. I informed the woman of what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, and she said, "May Allah reward you with good. Wait and obey him." When morning came, I held the head of the camel and brought it to the door of the Prophet ﷺ . Then I sat near the mosque, close to him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out and saw the camel and asked, "What is this?" They said, "O Messenger of Allah, this is a camel brought by Jabir." He said, "Where is Jabir?" I was called, and he said, "Come here, O son of my brother, take the head of your camel, it is yours." He then called Bilal and said, "Go with Jabir and give him some money." So, I went with Bilal, and he gave me some money and a little extra. I swear by Allah, that camel remained with us and we could see its place from our house until it was injured in the same way people were injured on the day of (the battle of) Badr.

[Machine] We descended into a valley from the valleys of Tihamat, a hollow in the mountains. Indeed, we descended into it quickly. He said, "And in the darkness of dawn, the people were like the branches and sides of a tree, they gathered and prepared." He said, "By Allah, we did not expect to be surrounded except by the army that has intensified its attack on us." The people retreated, but they did not retreat in the way we expected. The messenger of Allah ﷺ moved to the right and said, "Come to me, O people, I am the messenger of Allah, I am Muhammad ibn Abdullah." He said, "The camels couldn't bear being close to each other." The people left, except for a group of Muhajireen, Ansar, and his family who remained steadfast with him ﷺ. Abu Bakr, Umar, Ali ibn Abi Talib, Abbas ibn Abdul Muttalib, his son Al-Fadl ibn Abbas, Abu Sufyan ibn al-Harith, Rabee'ah ibn al-Harith, Ayman ibn Ubayd, who is the son of Umm Ayman, and Usamah ibn Zaid. Ibn Ishaq said, "And a man from the Hawazin tribe was riding a camel, holding a red flag in his hand, and a black head on a long spear, in front of the people. The Hawazin were behind him. When he reached them, he pierced them with his spear, and when the people moved away from him, he raised it for those behind him to follow him." Ibn Ishaq said, "And Asim ibn Umar ibn Qatadah narrated to me from Abdul Rahman ibn Jabir, who narrated from his father Jabir ibn Abdullah. He said, 'While this man from the Hawazin tribe, the one with the flag on his camel, was doing what he was doing, Ali ibn Abi Talib and a man from the Ansar wanted him. Ali approached him from behind, struck the back of the camel's neck, causing him to fall onto his knees. The Ansari man then jumped on the man and struck him with a powerful blow that cut his foot in half. He fell from his mount, and the people scattered. By Allah, the defeated people did not return to fight until they found themselves captives under the custody of the messenger of Allah ﷺ."

[Machine] We worked with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the Battle of the Trench. He said, "I had a fat, young female goat. I said, 'By Allah! If we survive this battle, I will prepare it for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ .' So, I ordered my wife to grind some barley and make bread out of it. Then, she slaughtered the goat and we grilled it for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ." He said, "When evening came and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wanted to leave the trench, he said, 'We have been working in the trench during the day, so when evening comes, we return to our families.' I said, 'O Messenger of Allah! I have prepared a goat for you that we had, and we made some bread with barley for it. I would love for you to come with me to my house, and I only wanted the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to come with me alone.' He said, 'When I said that to him, he said, 'Yes,' and then he shouted loudly, 'Leave with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to the house of Jabir.' I said, 'We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came forward and the people followed him. So, he sat down and we brought it to him. Then, he blessed it, praised Allah and named Allah's Name over it, and then he ate. People passed it around whenever one group finished, another group came, until the people of the trench were satisfied and stopped taking from it."

While he was facing Hira', suddenly I heard a sound from above me. I raised my head and saw the angel who came to me in Hira' sitting on a chair above my head. When I saw him, I became frightened and fell to the ground. When I woke up, I hurriedly went to my family and said, 'Cover me, cover me.' Then Gabriel came to me and said, 'O you wrapped in garments, arise and warn! And your Lord, magnify! And your clothing, purify! And defilement, avoid!' [Surah Al-Muddaththir, verse 1-5]."

He entered and I was allowed to enter too, and she was wearing a veil. He asked, 'Do you have any food?' They replied, 'Yes', so three loaves were brought and placed on a table. He asked, 'Do you have any condiments?' They said, 'No, except for some vinegar.' He said, 'Bring it.' They brought it and he took a piece of bread and dipped it in the vinegar and placed it in front of himself, another piece in front of me, and broke the third piece into two halves, placing one half in front of himself and the other half in front of me."
