4. Banū Hāshim (2/2)
[Machine] I was a companion of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . A man asked him and said, "Indeed, my father or mother is an elderly person who is unable to perform Hajj." So he mentioned the narration.
he was riding behind the Prophet and he continued to recite the Talbiyah until he stoned the Jamrat. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3055)
"I was riding behind the Prophet and he continued to recite the Talbiyah until he stoned Jamratul'Aqabah. He stoned it with seven pebbles, saying the Takbir with each throw." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3079)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ left Arafat, and Usama bin Zaid was riding with him. The camel carrying them hurried, while he was standing in Arafat with his hands raised above his head, not moving them beyond his head. When he left, he continued at a steady pace until he reached a gathering. Then he left that gathering and Al-Fadl began following him. Al-Fadl said, "The Prophet ﷺ would keep moving along until he reached the Jamrah (stone pillar)."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ visited Abbas while we were in the desert. He stood up to pray and said, "I see that it is the time of Asr prayer." In front of him, there was a water container and a grazing donkey. There was nothing blocking the way between him and them.
[Machine] "O Messenger of Allah, indeed my father has reached the obligation of Allah in Hajj and he is an elderly man who is unable to ride on a mount. So, may I perform the pilgrimage on behalf of my father?"
[Machine] He informed him that he entered the house with the Prophet ﷺ and that the Prophet ﷺ did not pray in the house when he entered it, but when he came out, he performed two units of prayer at the door of the house.
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ continued to ride alongside Usama bin Zaid from Arafat until they reached Jamarat, and then he continued to ride alongside al-Fadl bin Abbas from Jamarat until they reached Mina. Ibn Abbas said, "And al-Fadl bin Abbas informed me that the Prophet ﷺ continued to perform the ritual of pelting the Jamarat until he threw the pebbles at it."
"The Messenger of Allah said to the people when they moved on the evening of Arafat and the morning of Jam' (assembly at Al-Muzdalifah): 'You must have tranquility.' He was reining in his camel, and when he entered Mina, he came down to Muhassir and said: 'You have to pick up pebbles the size of date stones of fingertips with which to stone the Jamrat.' And he (Al-Fadl) said: 'And the Prophet gestured with his hand like a man throwing a pebble.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3052)
[Machine] "O Messenger of Allah, indeed my father has reached the age where performing the obligation of Hajj has become incumbent upon him, but he is an elderly man who is unable to mount his camel by himself. Should I perform Hajj on his behalf?"
[Machine] I was accompanying the Prophet (PBUH) as he walked out of Muzdalifah, and there was an Arab man walking beside him with his daughter. Her beauty caught my attention, so the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) turned my face away from her and continued walking, to divert my attention from her. He did not stop responding to my greetings until he threw the Jamarat Al-Aqabah.
[Machine] I went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one day and a deer came and leaned against his side, so I embraced it. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, did you have a sign/take an omen?" He said, "Verily, the omen is only what takes you forward or turns you back."
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Prophet ﷺ recited Talbiyah until he stoned ‘Aqabah Pillar. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3039)
[Machine] Shall I fast this day and make up for it on another day? He said: "Break your fast and go to Marwan and inform him". So Abu Bakr ibn Abdul Rahman ibn Al-Harith was sent to Umm Al-Mu'minin and he asked her. She said: "He used to wake up in the state of janaabah (sexual impurity) without having had a dream, and then he would observe fasting". He returned to Marwan and informed him, and Marwan said to him: "Go to Abu Hurairah". He (Abu Bakr) said: "He is a neighbor, he is a neighbor". So Marwan said: "I insist that you go to him and inform him". So he (Abu Bakr) met him and informed him, and Abu Bakr said: "I did not hear it from the Prophet ﷺ, but Fadl ibn Abbas informed me of it". He said: "After that, I met Raja' and said: Whose narration is this?" He (Raja') said: "It is only me who narrated it".
[Machine] "He was in the row of the Prophet ﷺ on the Day of Sacrifice, and he used to raise his voice during the Talbiyah until he threw the pebbles at the Jamrah. He said, 'A spirit in Hajj.' He said, 'A spirit,' meaning in his saying. Ali ibn Zaid narrated to us, he said, 'I heard Yusuf ibn Mahak, both of them said, 'Ibn Mahak said'."
[Machine] He was behind the Prophet ﷺ on the Day of Sacrifice and she was his trade. So I started looking at her, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned my face away from her. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ continued to recite talbiyah from Jam to Mina until he threw the pebbles on the Day of Sacrifice.
[Machine] It was the habit of the Prophet ﷺ to set out from Arafat without raising his camel's leg until he reached Jamm. Al-Sha'bi narrated to me that Usama narrated to him that it was the habit of the Prophet ﷺ to set out from Jamm without raising his camel's leg until he threw the Jamrah.
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ stood inside the Kaaba, glorified and praised Allah, and sought His forgiveness. He did not perform the bowing or prostration.
[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ continued from Arafat to Muzdalifah with Usama, and continued from Muzdalifah to Mina with Al-Fadl. He informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had been performing the rituals of Hajj until he threw the pebbles at the Jamrah.
Al Fadl bin Abbas said The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ uttered talbiyah till he threw pebbles at Jamrat Al ‘Aqbah. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1815)
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Whoever intends to perform Hajj, let him hasten to do so, for he may fall sick, lose his mount, or be faced with some need.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2883)
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Whoever intends to perform Hajj, let him hasten to do so, for he may fall sick, lose his mount, or be faced with some need.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2883)
4.3 [Machine] Complete Biography of Al-Abbas bin Abdul-Muttalib About the Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Why do I see you coming to me with unkempt hair? Would it not be difficult for my Ummah (nation) if I were to impose the use of Siwak (tooth-cleaning twig) on them, just as I have made Wudu (ablution) obligatory upon them?"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to describe Abdullah, Ubaidullah, and many among the Banu Abbas, then he would say, "Whoever comes to me first, he shall have this and this." So they would race towards him and fall on his back and chest, and he would kiss them and hold them tightly.
4.4 [Machine] Ubaidullah bin Abbas, from the Prophet ﷺ
[Machine] The Ghumaysa or Rumaysa came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ complaining about her husband and claiming that he does not provide for her. It was not long before her husband came and claimed that she was lying, but she wanted to return to her first husband. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, "You cannot do that until another man tastes your sweetness."
