[Machine] "O Messenger of Allah, indeed my father has reached the obligation of Allah in Hajj and he is an elderly man who is unable to ride on a mount. So, may I perform the pilgrimage on behalf of my father?"  

أحمد:١٨١٨ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍحَدَّثَنِي الْفَضْلُ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ أَتَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ خَثْعَمٍ فَقَالَتْ

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ أَبِي أَدْرَكَتْهُ فَرِيضَةُ اللهِ ﷻ فِي الْحَجِّ وَهُوَ شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَثْبُتَ عَلَى دَابَّتِهِ قَالَ فَحُجِّي عَنِ أبِيكِ

Messenger of Allah, my father is very old. There is an old obligation of Hajj upon him from Allah, but he is not capable of sitting on the back of the camel. Thereupon Allah's Apostle ﷺ said: Perform Hajj on his behalf.  

مسلم:١٣٣٥ – حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً مِنْ خَثْعَمَ قَالَتْ

يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أَبِي شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ عَلَيْهِ فَرِيضَةُ اللَّهِ فِي الْحَجِّ وَهُوَ لاَ يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَسْتَوِيَ عَلَى ظَهْرِ بَعِيرِهِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَحُجِّي عَنْهُ

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ فَرِيضَةَ اللهِ فِي الْحَجِّ عَلَى عِبَادِهِ أَدْرَكَتْ أَبِي شَيْخًا كَبِيرًا لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَسْتَوِيَ عَلَى الرَّاحِلَةِ هَلْ يَقْضِي عَنْهُ أَنْ أَحُجَّ عَنْهُ؟ قَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «نَعَمْ»

الطبراني:١٥٨٨٥ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ حَدَّثَتْنَا عَائِشَةُ بِنْتُ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً مِنْ خَثْعَمٍ قَالَتْ

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ فَرِيضَةَ اللهِ فِي الْحَجِّ أَدْرَكَتْ أَبِي شَيْخًا كَبِيرًا لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَسْتَمْسِكَ عَلَى الرَّاحِلَةِ أَفَأَحُجُّ عَنْهُ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ حُجِّي عَنْ أَبِيكِ»
