[Machine] "O Messenger of Allah, indeed my father has reached the age where performing the obligation of Hajj has become incumbent upon him, but he is an elderly man who is unable to mount his camel by himself. Should I perform Hajj on his behalf?"
يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ أَبِي أَدْرَكَتْهُ فَرِيضَةُ اللهِ فِي الْحَجِّ وَهُوَ شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَسْتَوِيَ عَلَى ظَهْرِ بَعِيرِهِ قَالَ فَحُجِّي عَنْهُ
Messenger of Allah, my father is very old. There is an old obligation of Hajj upon him from Allah, but he is not capable of sitting on the back of the camel. Thereupon Allah's Apostle ﷺ said: Perform Hajj on his behalf.
يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أَبِي شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ عَلَيْهِ فَرِيضَةُ اللَّهِ فِي الْحَجِّ وَهُوَ لاَ يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَسْتَوِيَ عَلَى ظَهْرِ بَعِيرِهِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَحُجِّي عَنْهُ
"A woman from Khath'am said: 'O Messenger of Allah! My father has lived until Allah has made Hajj obligatory, and he is an elderly man who is not able to sit on the back of a camel.' So he (pbuh) said: 'Perform Hajj for him.'"
يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أَبِي أَدْرَكَتْهُ فَرِيضَةُ اللَّهِ فِي الْحَجِّ وَهُوَ شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ لاَ يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَسْتَوِيَ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْبَعِيرِ قَالَ حُجِّي عَنْهُ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ وَبُرَيْدَةَ وَحُصَيْنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ وَأَبِي رَزِينٍ الْعُقَيْلِيِّ وَسَوْدَةَ بِنْتِ زَمْعَةَ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
[Machine] "O Messenger of Allah, indeed my father has reached the obligation of Allah in Hajj and he is an elderly man who is unable to ride on a mount. So, may I perform the pilgrimage on behalf of my father?"
يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ أَبِي أَدْرَكَتْهُ فَرِيضَةُ اللهِ ﷻ فِي الْحَجِّ وَهُوَ شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَثْبُتَ عَلَى دَابَّتِهِ قَالَ فَحُجِّي عَنِ أبِيكِ
[Machine] "O Messenger of Allah, the obligation of Allah in Hajj has reached her father who is an elderly man, unable to endure the journey. Should she perform Hajj on his behalf?" He said, "Yes."
يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ فَرِيضَةَ اللهِ فِي الْحَجِّ أَدْرَكَتْ أَبَاهَا شَيْخًا كَبِيرًا لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَثْبُتَ عَلَى الرَّحْلِ أَفَأَحُجُّ عَنْهُ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ
[Machine] A woman asked the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Indeed, my father is an elderly man who cannot ride a camel due to the burden of Allah's obligatory acts upon him." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Perform Hajj on his behalf."
أَنَّ امْرَأَةً سَأَلَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ إِنَّ أَبِي شَيْخٌ لَا يَسْتَوِي عَلَى الْبَعِيرِ أَدْرَكَتْهُ فَرِيضَةُ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «حُجِّي عَنْهُ»
