If anyone helps his people in an unrighteous cause, he is like a camel which falls into a well and is pulled out by its tail.
مَنْ نَصَرَ قَوْمَهُ عَلَى غَيْرِ الْحَقِّ فَهُوَ كَالْبَعِيرِ الَّذِي رُدِّيَ فَهُوَ يُنْزَعُ بِذَنَبِهِ
If anyone helps his people in an unrighteous cause, he is like a camel which falls into a well and is pulled out by its tail.
مَنْ نَصَرَ قَوْمَهُ عَلَى غَيْرِ الْحَقِّ فَهُوَ كَالْبَعِيرِ الَّذِي رُدِّيَ فَهُوَ يُنْزَعُ بِذَنَبِهِ
[AI] The branch and I consider that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has elevated him. He said, "The example of one who supports his tribe with falsehood is like a camel tied to a well, it keeps going down with its tail."
شُعْبَةُ وَأَحْسِبُهُ قَدْ رَفَعَهُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَثَلُ الَّذِي يُعِينُ عَشِيرَتَهُ عَلَى غَيْرِ الْحَقِّ مَثَلُ الْبَعِيرِ رُدِّيَ فِي بِئْرٍ فَهُوَ يَمُدُّ بِذَنَبِهِ
[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever supports his people in injustice, he is like a camel that is dragging its tail."
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَنْ أَعَانَ قَوْمَهُ عَلَى ظُلْمٍفَهُوَ كَالْبَعِيرِ الْمُتَرَدِّي يَنْزِعُ بِذَنَبِهِ
[AI] The translation of the Arabic sentence is: On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said: "The example of someone who helps his people in a way that is not true is like a camel that falls into a well and is taken out by its own hump."
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَثَلُ الَّذِي يُعِينُ قَوْمَهُ عَلَى غَيْرِ الْحَقِّ كَمَثَلِ بَعِيرٍ تَرَدَّى فِي بِئْرٍ فَهُوَ يُنْزَعُ مِنْهَا بِذَنَبِهِ»
قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَثَلُ الَّذِي يُعِينُ قَوْمَهُ عَلَى غَيْرِ الْحَقِّ كَمَثَلِ بَعِيرٍ أَرْدَى فِي بِئْرٍ فَهُوَ يَنْزِعُ مِنْهَا بِذَنَبِهِ وَهَذَا الْكَلَامُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever supports injustice is like a camel that is dragging its tail." This was narrated by Zuhayr ibn Mu'awiya from Samaak, who is stationed (standing).
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ أَعَانَ عَلَى ظُلْمٍ فَهُوَ كَالْبَعِيرِ الْمُتَرَدِّي فَهُوَ يَنْزِعُ بِذَنَبِهِ وَرَوَاهُ زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ مَوْقُوفًا
"مَثلُ الَّذِي يُعِينُ قَوْمَهُ عَلَى غير الحقِّ، مَثلُ بعِيرٍ رَدِئٍ وَهُوَ يُجَرُّ بِذَنَبِه".
"مَثلُ الَّذِي يُعِينُ قَوْمَهُ عَلَى الظُّلْمِ، مثلُ الْبَعِير الَّذي يَتَرَدَّى بَينَ (*) الرِّكَاءِ يُنْزعُ بذنبهِ".
"مَنْ أَعَانَ عَلَى ظُلمٍ فَهُو كالبعِير المُتَردِّى، ينزع بِذَنَبِه".
"مَنْ أَعَانَ قَوْمَه عَلَى الظُّلم كان كَالبَعِير المُتَرَدِّى (*) في الركِّاءِ ينزع بذَنَبه".
"مَنْ نَصَرَ قَوْمَهُ عَلَى غَيرِ الحَقِّ، فَهُوَ كَالبَعِيرِ الَّذِي تَردَّى فَهُوَ يُنْزعُ بِذنَبِهِ".
"مَنْ نَصَرَ قَوْمَهُ عَلَى غَيرِ الحَقِّ فَهُوَ كَالبَعِيرِ الَّذِي رُدِّي فَهُوَ يُنْزعُ بِذَنَبِهِ".
