ذِكْرُ الزَّجْرِ عَنْ أَنْ يُعِينَ الْمَرْءُ أَحَدًا عَلَى مَا لَيْسَ لِلَّهِ فِيهِ رِضًا

[Machine] The translation of the Arabic sentence is: On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said: "The example of someone who helps his people in a way that is not true is like a camel that falls into a well and is taken out by its own hump."  

ابن حبّان:٥٩٤٢أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مَوْلَى ثَقِيفٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُؤَمَّلُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَثَلُ الَّذِي يُعِينُ قَوْمَهُ عَلَى غَيْرِ الْحَقِّ كَمَثَلِ بَعِيرٍ تَرَدَّى فِي بِئْرٍ فَهُوَ يُنْزَعُ مِنْهَا بِذَنَبِهِ»

[Machine] The branch and I consider that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has elevated him. He said, "The example of one who supports his tribe with falsehood is like a camel tied to a well, it keeps going down with its tail."
