abudawud:3002Muṣarrif b. ʿAmr > Yūnus > Ibn Isḥāq > a freed slave of Lizayd b. Thābit > Āb.ah Muḥayyiṣah > Abīhā Muḥayyiṣah

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: If you gain a victory over the men of Jews, kill them. So Muhayyisah jumped over Shubaybah, a man of the Jewish merchants. He had close relations with them. He then killed him. At that time Huwayyisah (brother of Muhayyisah) had not embraced Islam. He was older than Muhayyisah. When he killed him, Huwayyisah beat him and said: O enemy of Allah, I swear by Allah, you have a good deal of fat in your belly from his property.  

أبو داود:٣٠٠٢حَدَّثَنَا مُصَرِّفُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ قَالَ ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنِي مَوْلًى لِزَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ حَدَّثَتْنِي ابْنَةُ مُحَيِّصَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهَا مُحَيِّصَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ ظَفِرْتُمْ بِهِ مِنْ رِجَالِ يَهُودَ فَاقْتُلُوهُ فَوَثَبَ مُحَيِّصَةُ عَلَى شَبِيبَةَ رَجُلٍ مِنْ تُجَّارِ يَهُودَ كَانَ يُلاَبِسُهُمْ فَقَتَلَهُ وَكَانَ حُوَيِّصَةُ إِذْ ذَاكَ لَمْ يُسْلِمْ وَكَانَ أَسَنَّ مِنْ مُحَيِّصَةَ فَلَمَّا قَتَلَهُ جَعَلَ حُوَيِّصَةُ يَضْرِبُهُ وَيَقُولُ يَا عَدُوَّ اللَّهِ أَمَا وَاللَّهِ لَرُبَّ شَحْمٍ فِي بَطْنِكَ مِنْ مَالِهِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever you gain the upper hand over from among the men of the Jews, kill him." So Muḥayyiṣah jumped on Ibn Sunaynah, a man from the Jewish merchants who used to trade with them and make treaties with them, and he killed him. At that time, Ḥuwayṣah had not yet accepted Islam and he was stronger than Muḥayyiṣah. When Ḥuwayṣah saw Muḥayyiṣah kill him, he started hitting him and saying, "Oh enemy of Allah, you killed him? By Allah, you have a lot of fat in your stomach from his wealth." I (Muḥayyiṣah) said, "By Allah, if Muhammad ordered me to kill you, I would have cut your neck." He (Ḥuwayṣah) said, "By Allah, if Muhammad ordered you to kill me, you would kill me?" Muḥayyiṣah said, "Yes, by Allah." Ḥuwayṣah said, "By Allah, this religion has reached great heights." So Ḥuwayṣah accepted Islam.

"عَنْ بِنْتِ مُحَيصَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهَا: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: مَنْ ظَفِرتُمْ بِهِ مِنْ رِجَالِ يَهُود فَاقْتُلُوه، فَوَثَبَ ابْنُ مُحَيصَةَ عَلَى ابْنِ شَيْبَةَ رَجُلٍ مِنْ تُجَّارِ يَهُود وكَانَ

يُلابِسُهم وَيُبَايِعُهُمْ، فَقَتَلَهُ، وَكَانَ حُويِصَةُ إِذْ ذَاكَ لَمْ يُسْلِمْ، وَكَانَ أَسَنَّ مِنْ مُحَيصَةَ، فَلَمَّا قَتَلَهُ جَعَلَ (حُوَيصَةُ) مُحَيصَةُ يَضْرِبُهُ ويَقُولُ: أَىْ عَدُوَّ اللهِ قَتَلْتَهُ! أَمَا وَاللهِ لَرُبَّ شَحْمٍ فِى بَطْنِكَ مِنْ مَالِهِ! ! فَقُلْتُ وَالله لَوْ أَمَرَنِي بِقَتْلِكَ لَضَرَبْتُ عُنقَكَ، قَالَ: فَوَاللهِ إِنْ كَانَ لأَوَّل إِسَلَامِ حُوَيصَةَ! قَالَ: وَاللهِ لَئِنْ أَمَرَكَ مُحَمَّدٌ بقَتْلِى لَتَقْتُلَنِي؟ قَالَ مُحَيصَةُ: نَعَمْ وَاللهِ. قَالَ حُوَيصَةُ: فَوَالله إِنَّ نبيًا (*) بَلَغَ بِكَ هَذَا إِنَّهُ لَعَجَبٌ".
