One who is skilled in the Qur'an is associated with the noble, upright recording angels, and he who falters when he recites the Qur'an and finds it difficult for him will have a double reward.
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الَّذِي يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَهُوَ مَاهِرٌ بِهِ مَعَ السَّفَرَةِ الْكِرَامِ الْبَرَرَةِ وَالَّذِي يَقْرَؤُهُ وَهُوَ يَشْتَدُّ عَلَيْهِ فَلَهُ أَجْرَانِ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Such a person as recites the Qur'an and masters it by heart, will be with the noble righteous scribes (in Heaven). And such a person exerts himself to learn the Qur'an by heart, and recites it with great difficulty, will have a double reward."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَهْوَ حَافِظٌ لَهُ مَعَ السَّفَرَةِ الْكِرَامِ الْبَرَرَةِ وَمَثَلُ الَّذِي يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَهْوَ يَتَعَاهَدُهُ وَهْوَ عَلَيْهِ شَدِيدٌ فَلَهُ أَجْرَانِ
One who is proficient in the Qur'an is associated with the noble, upright, recording angels; and he who falters in it, and finds it difficult for him, will have two rewards.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْمَاهِرُ بِالْقُرْآنِ مَعَ السَّفَرَةِ الْكِرَامِ الْبَرَرَةِ وَالَّذِي يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَيَتَتَعْتَعُ فِيهِ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ شَاقٌّ لَهُ أَجْرَانِ
that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The one who recites the Qur'an and he is proficient with it, then he is with the noble and blessed Angels (As-Safaratil-Kiramil-Bararah), and the one who recites it" - Hisham said: "And it is hard for him" - Shu'bah said: "And it is difficult for him, - then he gets two rewards."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الَّذِي يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَهُوَ مَاهِرٌ بِهِ مَعَ السَّفَرَةِ الْكِرَامِ الْبَرَرَةِ وَالَّذِي يَقْرَؤُهُ قَالَ هِشَامٌ وَهُوَ شَدِيدٌ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ شَاقٌّ فَلَهُ أَجْرَانِ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
"The one who is proficient with the Qur'an will be with the noble and righteous scribes (the angels), and the one who reads it and stumbles over it, finding it difficult, will have two rewards."

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: "The example of the one who recites the Quran and memorizes it, while he is diligent in it, is like that of two rewards. And the example of the one who recites the Quran and memorizes it, while it is difficult for him, is like that of noble, righteous traveling companions."

"مثل الَّذي يقرأُ الْقرآنَ وهو ماهرٌ به مع السفرةِ الكرام البررة والذي يقرأُه وهو يشْتَدُّ عليه له أَجْرانَ".
"الَّذِي يَقْرَأُ الْقُرآنَ وَهُوَ مَاهِرٌ بِهِ مَعَ السَّفَرةِ الكِرَامِ البَرَرَةِ، والذي يقْرَؤُهُ وَهُوَ علَيهِ شَاقٌّ لَهُ أَجْرَانِ" .
"الماهِرَ بِالقُرآنِ مع السَّفرة الكِرَامِ البَرَرَةِ، والذي يَقْرَؤُهُ ويَتَتَعْتَعُ فيه وهو عليه شاق له أجران" .
