the Messenger of Allah instituted the Ushr of what was watered by the heavens and steams, or through natural channels, and half of the Ushr for what is watered by irrigation.
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ سَنَّ فِيمَا سَقَتِ السَّمَاءُ وَالْعُيُونُ أَوْ كَانَ عَثَرِيًّا الْعُشْرُ وَفِيمَا سُقِيَ بِالنَّضْحِ نِصْفُ الْعُشْرِ

"For whatever is irrigated by the sky, rivers and springs, or draws up water from deep roots, one-tenth. For whatever is irrigated by animals and artificial means, one half of one-tenth."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ فِيمَا سَقَتِ السَّمَاءُ وَالأَنْهَارُ وَالْعُيُونُ أَوْ كَانَ بَعْلاً الْعُشْرُ وَمَا سُقِيَ بِالسَّوَانِي وَالنَّضْحِ نِصْفُ الْعُشْرِ
"The Messenger of Allah said:'For that which is watered by the sky, rivers and springs, one-tenth. For whatever is irrigated by animals, one-half of one-tenth."'
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ فِيمَا سَقَتِ السَّمَاءُ وَالأَنْهَارُ وَالْعُيُونُ الْعُشْرُ وَفِيمَا سُقِيَ بِالسَّانِيَةِ نِصْفُ الْعُشْرِ
"The Messenger of Allah sent me to Yemen and he commanded me to take one-tenth of whatever is irrigated by the sky, and half of one-tenth of whatever is irrigated by means of buckets."
بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِلَى الْيَمَنِ فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ آخُذَ مِمَّا سَقَتِ السَّمَاءُ الْعُشْرَ وَفِيمَا سُقِيَ بِالدَّوَالِي نِصْفَ الْعُشْرِ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying A tenth is payable on what is watered by rain or rivers or brooks or from underground moisture and a twentieth on what is watered by draught camels.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِيمَا سَقَتِ السَّمَاءُ وَالأَنْهَارُ وَالْعُيُونُ أَوْ كَانَ بَعْلاً الْعُشْرُ وَفِيمَا سُقِيَ بِالسَّوَانِي أَوِ النَّضْحِ نِصْفُ الْعُشْرِ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِيمَا سَقَتِ السَّمَاءُ وَالْعُيُونُ الْعُشْرُ وَفِيمَا سُقِيَ بِالنَّضْحِ نِصْفُ الْعُشْرِ
that his Father said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'For whatever is irrigated by the sky, rivers and springs, or draws up water from deep roots, one-tenth. For whatever is irrigated by animals (i.e. by artificial means) one half of one-tenth.' ”
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فِيمَا سَقَتِ السَّمَاءُ وَالأَنْهَارُ وَالْعُيُونُ أَوْ كَانَ بَعْلاً الْعُشْرُ وَفِيمَا سُقِيَ بِالسَّوَانِي نِصْفُ الْعُشْرِ
Yahya related to me from Malik from a reliable source from Sulayman ibn Yasar and from Busr ibn Said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "On land that is watered by rain or springs or any natural means there is (zakat to pay of) a tenth. On irrigated land there is (zakat of) a twentieth (to pay)."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ فِيمَا سَقَتِ السَّمَاءُ وَالْعُيُونُ وَالْبَعْلِ الْعُشْرُ وَفِيمَا سُقِيَ بِالنَّضْحِ نِصْفُ الْعُشْرِ

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَرَضَ فِيمَا سَقَتِ السَّمَاءُ وَالْأَنْهَارُ وَالْعُيُونُ الْعُشْرَ وَفِيمَا سُقِيَ بِالنَّضْحِ نِصْفَ الْعُشْرِ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stated, "It is obligatory to give one-fortieth (2.5%) of the wealth, and of what is watered by the rivers and rainfall, one-half of the tenth (5%)."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «فَرَضَ فِي الْبَعْلِ وَفِيمَا سَقَتِ الْأَنْهَارُ الْعُشُورَ وَمَا سُقِيَ بِالنَّضْحِ نِصْفَ الْعَشْرِ»
"فيمَا سَقَت السَّمَاءُ وَالأَنْهار وَالْعُيُون، العشْرُ، وَفيمَا سَقت السَّانِيَةُ نِصْفُ الْعُشْرِ".
"فِيمَا سَقَت السَّمَاءُ وَالأَنْهَارُ وَالْعُيُونُ أَوْ كَانَ عَثَرِيًا الْعُشْرُ، وَفِيمَا سُقِيَ بِالسَّوَانِى، أوْ النَّضْحِ نِصْفُ الْعُشْرِ".
"فِيمَا سَقَت السَّمَاءُ وَالْعيُون الْعُشْرُ، وَفيمَا سُقِيَ بِالنَّضْحِ نِصْفُ الْعُشْرِ".
"عَنْ عليٍّ قَالَ: فِيمَا سَقَتِ السَّمَاءُ الْعُشْرُ، وَإِذَا سُقِىَ بِالدَّوَالِى وَالنَّواضِح نِصْفُ الْعُشْرِ".
"عَنْ عُمَرَ قَالَ: فِيمَا سَقَتِ السَّمَاءُ وَالأَنْهَارُ وَالعُيُونُ العُشْرُ، ومَا سُقِى بالرَّشَا (*) نِصْفُ العُشْر".
