from his father, that he said: "When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ became weak, I marched and the people marched upon Al-Madinah. I entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he was unable to speak (because of weakness), so he did not say anything. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ began to place his hands upon me and then raise them up, so I knew he was supplicating for me."  

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan-Gharīb.

لَمَّا ثَقُلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ هَبَطْتُ وَهَبَطَ النَّاسُ الْمَدِينَةَ فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَقَدْ أُصْمِتَ فَلَمْ يَتَكَلَّمْ فَجَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَضَعُ يَدَيْهِ عَلَىَّ وَيَرْفَعُهُمَا فَأَعْرِفُ أَنَّهُ يَدْعُو لِي  

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ

[Machine] When the Prophet ﷺ fell ill, I descended and the people also descended to Medina. So, I entered upon him and he was quiet, not speaking. He raised his hands to the sky and poured blessings upon me. I knew then that he was making du'a (supplication) for me.
