قُلْتُ لِعُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ إِنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ كَانَ يَقُولُ «إِنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ أُمُورٌ مُشْتَبِهَةٌ فَمَنْ رَضِيَهَا مِمَّنَ غَابَ عَنْهَا فَهُوَ كَمَنْ شَهِدَهَا وَمَنْ كَرِهَهَا مِمَّنْ شَهِدَهَا فَهُوَ كَمَنْ غَابَ عَنْهَا فَأَعْجَبَهُ»
