The Prophet ﷺ said to Hassan, "Lampoon them (i.e. the pagans) and Gabriel is with you." (Using translation from Bukhārī 3213)  

الطبراني:٣٥٨٨ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ وَأَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ قَالَا ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَعَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ قَالَ حَجَّاجُ وَسُلَيْمَانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَقَالَ عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ أَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِحَسَّانَ اهْجُهُمْ أَوْ هَاجِهِمْ وَجِبْرِيلُ مَعَكَ  

bukhari:4123 – al-Ḥajjāj b. Minhāl > Shuʿbah > ʿAdī > al-Barāʾ

The Prophet ﷺ said to Hassan, "Abuse them (with your poems), and Gabriel is with you (i.e, supports you)." (Through another group of sub narrators) Al-Bara bin Azib said, "On the day of Quraiza's (besiege), Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Hassan bin Thabit, 'Abuse them (with your poems), and Gabriel is with you (i.e. supports you).' "  

البخاري:٤١٢٣ – حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَدِيٌّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ الْبَرَاءَ ؓ قَالَ

The Prophet ﷺ said to Hassan, "Lampoon them (the pagans) in verse, and Gabriel is with you."  

البخاري:٦١٥٣ – حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ ؓ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لِحَسَّانَ اهْجُهُمْ أَوْ قَالَ هَاجِهِمْ وَجِبْرِيلُ مَعَكَ  

muslim:2486a – ʿUbaydullāh b. Muʿādh from my father > Shuʿbah > ʿAdī / Ibn Thābit > al-Barāʾ b. ʿĀzib

I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: Hassan b. Thibit, write satire (against the non-believers) ; Gabriel is with you.  

مسلم:٢٤٨٦a – حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَدِيٍّ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ بْنَ عَازِبٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لِحَسَّانَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ اهْجُهُمْ أَوْ هَاجِهِمْ وَجِبْرِيلُ مَعَكَ  

ahmad:18650 – Wakīʿ > Shuʿbah > ʿAdī b. Thābit > al-Barāʾ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said to Hassaan, "Argue with them or debate with them, for indeed Jibreel is with you."
