[Machine] Al-Qa'nabi narrated from Malik, who narrated from Bakr bin Sahl, who narrated from Abdullah bin Yusuf, who narrated from Malik, who narrated from Abu al-Nadr, the freed slave of Umar bin Ubaydullah bin Ma'mar, who narrated from Um al-Fadl bint al-Harith, that some people had a disagreement in her presence on the day of Arafah regarding the fasting of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . Some of them said he was fasting, while others said he was not. So she sent him a cup of milk while he was standing on his camel at Arafah and he drank it.

[Machine] Some people disagreed about the state of fasting of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ on the day of Arafah. Some said he was fasting, while others said he was not fasting. So, they sent a container of milk to him while he was standing on his camel at Arafah, and he drank from it. The wording of the hadith is: "Qa'na bi qadahin min labanin" which means "He drank from a container of milk" in the narration of al-Qa'nabiyy and "Tamaraw" in the narration of Rawh. And he drank from it while he was delivering a sermon to the people at Arafah.

[Machine] They camped near her on the day of Arafah, in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Some of them said, "He is fasting," and some of them said, "He is not fasting." So Umm Al-Fadl sent a cup of milk to him while he was standing in Arafah on a camel, and he drank it. And Abu Abdullah Al-Hafiz informed us that Muhammad bin Ya'qub Al-Shaybani narrated to us from Muhammad bin Abdul Salam and Hasan bin Abdul Samad, they said: Yahya bin Yahya said: I read it from Malik and he mentioned it.
