The Apostle of Allah ﷺ used to offer the noon prayer when the sun declined.
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُصَلِّي الظُّهْرَ إِذَا دَحَضَتِ الشَّمْسُ

The Prophet used to pray Zuhr when the sun had passed its zenith.

[Machine] Bilal used to call the Dhuhr prayer when the sun declined, and sometimes he would delay the congregational prayer, but he did not delay the call to prayer.
«كَانَ بِلَالٌ يُؤَذِّنُ الظُّهْرَ إِذَا دَحَضَتِ الشَّمْسُ وَكَانَ رُبَّمَا أَخَّرَ الْإِقَامَةَ وَلَا يُؤَخِّرُ الْأَذَانَ»
[Machine] And the other one said, Bilal used to call the Adhan (Islamic call to prayer) when the sun set.
وَقَالَ الْآخَرُ كَانَ بِلَالٌ يُؤَذِّنُ إِذَا دَحَضَتِ الشَّمْسُ
