[Machine] Subay'ah gave birth after the death of her husband twenty-three nights or twenty-five nights. When she finished her postpartum period, she felt a longing. This was mentioned to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , and he said, "If she does it, then her waiting period is over."  

الطبراني:١٩١٩١ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا أَبِي ثنا زُهَيْرٌ ثنا مَنْصُورٌ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ أَبِي السَّنَابِلِ بْنِ بَعْكَكٍ قَالَ

وَلَدَتْ سُبَيْعَةُ بَعْدَ وَفَاةِ زَوْجِهَا بِثَلَاثٍ وَعِشْرِينَ لَيْلَةً أَوْ خَمْسٍ وَعِشْرِينَ فَلَمَّا تَعَلَّتْ مِنْ نِفَاسِهَا تَشَوَّقَتْ فَذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «إِنْ تَفْعَلْ فَقَدْ حَلَّ أَجَلُهَا»

"Subai'ah gave birth twenty-three or twenty-five days after her husband died, and when her Nifas ended she expressed her wish to remarry and was criticized for that. Mention of that was made to the Messenger of Allah and he said: 'There is nothing to stop her; her term has ended.'"  

النسائي:٣٥٠٨ – أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي جَرِيرٌ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ عَنْ أَبِي السَّنَابِلِ قَالَ

وَضَعَتْ سُبَيْعَةُ حَمْلَهَا بَعْدَ وَفَاةِ زَوْجِهَا بِثَلاَثَةٍ وَعِشْرِينَ أَوْ خَمْسَةٍ وَعِشْرِينَ لَيْلَةً فَلَمَّا تَعَلَّتْ تَشَوَّفَتْ لِلأَزْوَاجِ فَعِيبَ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهَا فَذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ مَا يَمْنَعُهَا قَدِ انْقَضَى أَجَلُهَا

"Subai'ah Aslamiyyah bint Harith gave birth twenty-odd days after her husband died. When her postnatal bleeding ended, she adorned herself, and was criticized for doing that. Her case was mentioned to the Prophet ﷺ and he said: 'If she does that, then her waiting period is over."'  

ابن ماجة:٢٠٢٧ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ عَنْ أَبِي السَّنَابِلِ قَالَ

وَضَعَتْ سُبَيْعَةُ الأَسْلَمِيَّةُ بِنْتُ الْحَارِثِ حَمْلَهَا بَعْدَ وَفَاةِ زَوْجِهَا بِبِضْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ لَيْلَةً فَلَمَّا تَعَلَّتْ مِنْ نِفَاسِهَا تَشَوَّفَتْ فَعِيبَ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهَا وَذُكِرَ أَمْرُهَا لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنْ تَفْعَلْ فَقَدْ مَضَى أَجَلُهَا  

ahmad:18713 – Ziyād b. ʿAbdullāh al-Bakkāʾī > Manṣūr And al-Aʿmash > Ibrāhīm > al-Aswad > Abū al-Sanābil

[Machine] Sabiyah gave birth twenty-three or twenty-five nights after the death of her husband. She became ill and the Prophet ﷺ visited her and was informed of the situation. He said, "If you do so, then her time has passed."  

أحمد:١٨٧١٣ – حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَكَّائِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ وَالْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ أَبِي السَّنَابِلِ قَالَ

وَلَدَتْ سُبَيْعَةُ بَعْدَ وَفَاةِ زَوْجِهَا بِثَلَاثٍ وَعِشْرِينَ أَوْ خَمْسٍ وَعِشْرِينَ لَيْلَةً فَتَشَوَّفَتْ فَأُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَأُخْبِرَ فَقَالَ إِنْ تَفْعَلْ فَقَدْ مَضَى أَجَلُهَا

[Machine] After the death of her husband, Subay'ah bint al-Harith waited for twenty-three or twenty-five nights. When she expressed her desire for marriage, he rejected it and mentioned it to the Prophet ﷺ . He said, "If she does so, her waiting period would be lawful." 'Affan said, "Then her waiting period has been completed."

وَضَعَتْ سُبَيْعَةُ بِنْتُ الْحَارِثِ بَعْدَ وَفَاةِ زَوْجِهَا بِثَلَاثٍ وَعِشْرِينَ أَوْ خَمْسٍ وَعِشْرِينَ لَيْلَةً فَلَمَّا تَعَلَّتْ تَشَوَّفَتْ لِلنِّكَاحِ فَأَنْكَرَ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهَا وَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنْ تَفْعَلْ فَقَدْ حَلَّ أَجَلُهَا قَالَ عَفَّانُ فَقَدْ خَلَا أَجَلُهَا
