A group of people from my Umma will always remain triumphant on the right path and continue to be triumphant (against their opponents). He who deserts them shall not be able to do them any harm. They will remain in this position until Allah's Command is executed (i.e. Qiyamah is established). In Qutaiba's version of the tradition, we do not have the words:" They will remain in this position."

رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي ظَاهِرِينَ عَلَى الْحَقِّ لاَ يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ خَذَلَهُمْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ وَهُمْ كَذَلِكَ وَلَيْسَ فِي حَدِيثِ قُتَيْبَةَ وَهُمْ كَذَلِكَ

"I only fear for my Ummah from the misguiding A'immah." He said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "There will never cease to be a group from my Ummah manifest upon the truth, they will not be harmed by those who forsake them until Allah's Decree comes."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّمَا أَخَافُ عَلَى أُمَّتِي الأَئِمَّةَ الْمُضِلِّينَ قَالَ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي عَلَى الْحَقِّ ظَاهِرِينَ لاَ يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ يَخْذُلُهُمْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There will always be a group from my Ummah (Muslim community) who will remain steadfast upon the truth, victorious over those who oppose them, until the command of Allah comes and Jesus, the son of Mary, descends."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي عَلَى الْحَقِّ ظَاهِرِينَ عَلَى مَنْ نَاوَأَهُمْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ أَمْرُ اللهِ وَيَنْزِلَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There will always be a group from my Ummah who will remain steadfast in their religion, evident to their enemies, prevailing over them. Those who oppose them will not harm them, except for some ˹minor losses˺, until the command of Allah comes to them while they are still in this state." They asked, "O Messenger of Allah, where are they?" He said, "They are in Bayt al-Maqdis (Jerusalem) and its surroundings."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي عَلَى الدِّينِ ظَاهِرِينَ لَعَدُوِّهِمْ قَاهِرِينَ لَا يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ خَالَفَهُمْ إِلَّا مَا أَصَابَهُمْ مِنْ لَأْوَاءَ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَهُمْ أَمْرُ اللهِ وَهُمْ كَذَلِكَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَأَيْنَ هُمْ؟ قَالَ بِبَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ وَأَكْنَافِ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "A group among my Ummah will continue to follow the truth and prevail, and those who oppose them will not be able to harm them, until the command of Allah comes to pass." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 10)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَلَا تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي عَلَى الْحَقِّ ظَاهِرِينَ لَا يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ خَذَلَهُمْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ أَمْرُ اللهِ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "A group from my Ummah will always remain steadfast on the truth, prevailing over those who oppose them, until the command of Allah comes to them while they are in that state." It was asked, "O Messenger of Allah, where are they?" He replied, "In Jerusalem."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي عَلَى الْحَقِّ ظَاهِرِينَ عَلَى مَنْ يَغْزُوهُمْ قَاهِرِينَ لَا يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ نَاوَأَهُمْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَهُمْ أَمَرُ اللهِ وَهُمْ كَذَلِكَ» قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَأَيْنَ هُمْ؟ قَالَ «بِبَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There will always be a group from my nation who are visibly upon the truth, not harmed by those who abandon them, until the command of Allah comes while they are in that state."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي ظَاهِرِينَ عَلَى الْحَقِّ لَا يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ خَذَلَهُمْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ أَمْرُ اللهِ وَهُمْ كَذَلِكَ

"لَنْ تَزَال طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي ظَاهِرينَ عَلَى الحَقّ لَا يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ خَذَلَهُمْ أَوْ فَارَقَهُمْ حَتَّى يَأتِيَ أمْرُ اللهِ".

"لا تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمتِي ظَاهِرِينَ عَلَى الحَق لا يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ خَذَلَهُمْ، حَتَّى يَأتِيَ أَمْرُ اللهِ وَهُمْ كذَلِكَ".

"لا تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي عَلَى الحَقِّ ظَاهِرِينَ عَلَى مَنْ يَغْزُوهُمْ قَاهِريِنَ لا يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ نَاوَأهُمْ، حَتَّى يَأتِيَهُمْ أمْرُ اللهِ وَهُمْ كَذَلِكَ، قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ: وَأينَ هُمْ؟ قَال: بِبَيتِ المَقْدِسِ".

"لا تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي عَلَى الحَقِّ ظَاهِرِينَ عَلَى مَنْ نَاوَأَهُمْ وَهُمْ كالإِنَاءِ بَينَ الأكَلَةِ حَتَّى يَأتِي أَمْرُ اللهِ وَهُمْ كَذَلِكَ، قِيلَ: وَأَينَ هُمْ؟ قَال: بِأكنَافِ بَيتِ المَقْدِسِ".

"عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ السَّمَؤَلِىَّ، عَنْ مُرَّةَ البَهْزِىَّ: أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: لَا تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِى عَلَى الْحَقَّ ظَاهِرِينَ عَلَى مَنْ نَاوَأَهُمْ، وَهُمْ كَالإِنَاءِ بَينَ الأَكَلَةِ حَتَّى يَأتِىَ أَمْرُ اللهِ وَهُمْ كَذلِكَ، فَقُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ الله: مَنْ هُمْ؟ وَأَينَ هُمْ؟ قَالَ: بِأَكْنَافِ بَيْتِ الْمَقدِسِ، قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنِى أنَّ الرَّمْلَةَ هِىَ الرَّبْوَةُ، وَذَلِكَ أَنَّهَا تَسِيلُ مُغَرَبَةً وَمُشَرِّقَةً".

"عَنْ أُبِي أُمَامَة أنَّ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ قَالَ: لَا تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِى ظَاهِرِين عَلَى الْحَقِّ لِعَدُوِّهم قَاهِرِينَ، لَا يَضُرُّهُم مَنْ خَالَفَهُم إلَا مَا أَصَابَهُم من لأواء وهم كَالإِنَاءِ بَيْنَ الأَكلَةِ حَتَّى يَأتيهم أَمَر الله، وَهُم كَذَلِكَ، قَالُوا: يَا رَسُول الله: وَأيْنَ هُمْ؟ قَالَ: بِبَيْتِ الْمَقْدِس وَأكْنَاف بيت الْمَقْدسِ".
