[Machine] He heard Abu Ruham, who was one of the companions of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, those who pledged allegiance under the tree, saying, "I participated in the Battle of Tabuk with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When he set up camp in the Akhdar Valley, I secretly followed him and drowsiness overwhelmed me. I woke up and my camel was close to his. I was afraid that my foot would get caught in the reins, so I delayed my camel until I fell asleep again. My camel collided with the Messenger of Allah's camel and his foot was injured. I only woke up when he said 'Hass'. I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, seek forgiveness for me.' He said, 'Remain silent.' Then the Prophet ﷺ asked me about those who stayed behind from the Banu Ghifar tribe. I informed him, and he asked me, 'What did the red camels, tall and thin, do?' So I informed him of their delay. He asked me, 'What did the black camels, short and small, who have blessings tied to their saddles, do?' I remembered the Banu Ghifar tribe and did not mention them until I remembered that they are a clan from the Muslims who has also stayed behind. The Prophet ﷺ said, 'What prevented any of those people from carrying a man who is active on a camel from his own camels in the way of Allah? Because it would have been more beloved to me for the Muhajirun from the Quraysh, the Ansar, and the Ghifar to stay behind than my own family.' This narration was reported by Muhammad ibn Ishaq from Az-Zuhri, and it was transmitted by the nephew of Abu Ruham ibn Uqaymah's brother.
