إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever seeks knowledge for one of three reasons will be afflicted by it: to impress fools, to show off to the scholars, or to attract people's attention to himself. He will be spoken harshly about."

الطبراني:١٦٣١٠ – حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزْيَدٍ الْعُمَرِيُّ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ طَلَبَ الْعِلْمَ لِإِحْدَى ثَلَاثٍ يُمَارِي بِهِ السُّفَهَاءَ أَوْ يُبَاهِي بِهِ الْعُلَمَاءَ أَوْ يَسْتَجِيرُ وُجُوهَ النَّاسِ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ فِيهِ كَلَامًا شَدِيدًا
