[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever recites a letter from the Quran, a good deed will be written for him." I do not say that "Alif Lam Meem" is a letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter, Meem is a letter, and Dhaal is a letter, and Kaf is a letter."  

الطبراني:١٥٢٩٢ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفَهْمِيُّ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ الْقُرَظِيِّ عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ قَرَأَ حَرْفًا مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ كُتِبَ لَهُ حَسَنَةٌ» لَا أَقُولُ لَكُمْ «الْم ذَلِكَ الْكِتَابُ وَلَكِنِ الْأَلْفُ وَاللَّامُ وَالْمِيمُ وَالذَّالُ وَالْكَافُ»

"مَنْ قَرَأَ حَرْفًا منَ الْقُرْآنِ، كَتَبَ اللهُ -تعالى- لَهُ بهِ حَسَنَةً، لا أَقُولُ: بِسْمِ اللهِ، ولكن: بَاءٌ وسِينٌ ومِيمٌ، وَلا أَقول: المَ، ولكن أَقول: الأَلفُ واللام والمِيم".
