tabarani:14259 – [Chain 1] al-Miqdām b. Dāwud > Asad b. Mūsá [Chain 2] Yaḥyá b. ʿUthmān b. Ṣāliḥ from my father > Ibn Lahīʿah > Muḥammad b. Zayd b. al-Muhājir b. Qunfudh > ʿUmayr a freed slave of Ibn al-Laḥm

[Machine] "I used to take care of the army so I was given a privilege, so I mentioned it to some of the companions of the Prophet ﷺ , and they directed me to a wall of one of the Ansar (helpers). I took a few handfuls from it, then they took me to the Prophet ﷺ and I informed him of my need. He gave me one handful and returned the rest to its owners."  

الطبراني:١٤٢٥٩ – حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ثَنَا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ثَنَا أَبِي قَالَا ثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ بْنِ قُنْفُذٍ عَنْ عُمَيْرٍ مَوْلَى آبِي اللَّحْمِ قَالَ

«كُنْتُ أَرْعَى بِذَاتِ الْجَيْشِ فَأَصَابَتْنِي خَصَاصَةٌ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِبَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَدَلَّنِي عَلَى حَائِطٍ لِبَعْضِ الْأَنْصَارِ فاقْتَطَعْتُ مِنْهُ أُقْنًا فَأَخَذُونِي فَذَهَبُوا بِي إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ بِحَاجَتِي فَأعْطَانِي قِنْوًا وَاحِدًا وَرَدَّ سَائِرَهُ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ»
