tabarani:14260Fuḍayl b. Muḥammad al-Malṭī > Abū Nuʿaym > Hishām b. Saʿd > Muḥammad b. Zayd > ʿUmayr a freed slave of Ibn al-Laḥm

[Machine] I came to the Prophet ﷺ on the day of Khaybar while I was a slave. So I said, "Give me something." And he gave me a sword and said, "Take hold of it." So I took hold of it and it fell on the ground. Then he gave me from the spoils of war.  

الطبراني:١٤٢٦٠حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَلْطِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عُمَيْرٍ مَوْلَى آبِي اللَّحْمِ قَالَ

أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ وَأَنَا عَبْدٌ مَمْلُوكٌ فَقُلْتُ أَعْطِنِي فَأَعْطَانِي سَيْفًا وَقَالَ «تَقَلَّدْ بِهِ» فَأَخَذْتُهُ فَتَقَلَدَّتُهُ فَوَقَعَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ أَعْطَانِي مِنْ خُرْثِيِّ الْمَتَاعِ
