A believer's relationship with infrequent or frequent sins, who when reminded of them, quickly repents

tabarani:11810al-Ḥusayn b. al-ʿAbbās al-Rāzī > Aḥmad b. Abū Surayj al-Rāzī > ʿAlī b. Ḥafṣ al-Madāʾinī > ʿUbayd al-Muktib al-Kūfī > ʿIkrimah > Ibn ʿAbbās

from the Prophet ﷺ who said, "There is not believing servant except he has ˹a relationship˺ with a sin, which he repeats time after time or a sin he is persistent upon which he doesn't part from until he departs ˹away from this world˺. A believer is created under trials ˹to be tested˺, he constantly repents, and then constantly forgets, so whenever he is reminded, he ˹quickly˺ remembers ˹to repent again and turn back to Allah˺."
