[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say, "For the boy, two sheep are to be slaughtered as 'Aqiqah, and for the girl, one sheep is to be slaughtered as 'Aqiqah."  

الطبراني:١١٣٢٧ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبَانَ ثنا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُولُ «عَنِ الْغُلَامِ عقيقتانِ وَعَنِ الْجَارِيَةِ عَقِيقَةٌ»
