[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said regarding the 'aqiqah, "For a boy, two sheep, and for a girl, one sheep."  

الطبراني:٢٠٩٢٧ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ نَجْدَةَ الْحَوْطِيُّ ثنا أَبِي ح وَحَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ قَالَا ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ قَالَتْ

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي الْعَقِيقَةِ «عَنِ الْغُلَامِ شَاتَانِ وَعَنِ الْجَارِيَةِ شَاةٌ»
