[Machine] I performed Hajj with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he prayed two units of prayer in Mina. And with Abu Bakr, he prayed two units of prayer. And with Umar, he prayed two units of prayer. I wished that my two accepted units of prayer would be the same as theirs. Qais ibn al-Rabi` differed from them.  

الطبراني:١٠١٤٤ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ أنا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُمَارَةَ بْنَ عُمَيْرٍ أَوْ غَيْرَهُ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

حَجَجْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَصَلَّى بِمِنًى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَمَعَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَمَعَ عُمَرَ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَلَيْتَ حَظِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ مُتَقَبَّلَتَيْنِ وَخَالَفَهُمْ قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ

We offered a four rakʿat prayer at Mina behind Ibn ʿAffan . ʿAbdullah bin Masʿud was informed about it. He said sadly, "Truly to Allah we belong and truly to Him we shall return." And added, "I prayed two rakʿat with Messenger of Allah ﷺ at Mina and similarly with Abu Bakr and with ʿUmar (during their caliphates)." He further said, "May I be lucky enough to have two of the four rakʿat accepted (by Allah)."

I offered (only a) two rakʿat prayer with the Prophet (at Mina), and similarly with Abu Bakr and with ʿUmar, and then you d offered in opinions. Wish that I would be lucky enough to have two of the four rakʿat accepted (by Allah).

I heard 'Abd al-Rahman as saying; 'Uthman led us four rak'ahs of prayer at Mina. It was reported to Abdullah b. Mas'ud and he recited:" Surely we are Allah's and to Him shall we return," and then said: I prayed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at Mina two rak'ahs of prayer. I prayed along with Abu Bakr al-Siddiq two rak'ahs of prayer at Mina. I prayed along with 'Umar b. Khattab two rak'ahs of prayer at Mina. I wish I had my share of the two rak'ahs acceptable (to God) for the four rak'ahs.

"Imran bin Husain was asked about the traveler's prayer. He said: 'I performed Hajj with the Messenger of Allah, and he prayed two Rak'ah. I performed Hajj with Abu Bakr, and he prayed two Rak'ah and with Umar, and he prayed two Rak;ah; and with Uthman for six years of his Khilafah, or eight years, and he prayed two Rak'ah."  

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan-Ṣaḥīḥ.
الترمذي:٥٤٥ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُدْعَانَ الْقُرَشِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ قَالَ سُئِلَ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ صَلاَةِ الْمُسَافِرِ فَقَالَ

حَجَجْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَحَجَجْتُ مَعَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَمَعَ عُمَرَ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَمَعَ عُثْمَانَ سِتَّ سِنِينَ مِنْ خِلاَفَتِهِ أَوْ ثَمَانِيَ سِنِينَ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ  

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ

أحمد:٣٩٥٣ – حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُمَارَةَ بْنَ عُمَيْرٍ يُحَدِّثُ قَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ أَوْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ شُعْبَةُ شَكَّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ

صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بِمِنًى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَمَعَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَمَعَ عُمَرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَلَيْتَ حَظِّي مِنْ أَرْبَعٍ رَكْعَتَانِ مُتَقَبَّلَتَانِ

صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بِمَكَّةَ وَبِمِنًى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَمَعَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَمَعَ عُمَرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَمَعَ عُثْمَانَ صَدْرًا مِنْ خِلَافَتِهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ
