Ruqyah of Jibrīl

hakim:5681 – Abū al-ʿAbbās Muḥammad b. Yaʿqūb > al-Rabīʿ b. Sulaymān > Asad b. Mūsá > Fuḍayl b. Marzūq > Maysarah b. Ḥabīb > al-Minhāl b. ʿAmr > Muḥammad b. ʿAlī b. al-Ḥanafiyyah > ʿAmmār b. Yāsir

that he (ʿAmmar b. Yāsir) entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ seeking advice. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, “Should I not teach you a healing that Jibrīl used to heal me?” I said, “Of course.”

He then taught him: “bismillāhi arqīk, wa-allāhu yashfīk, min kulli dāʾin yuʾdhīk (In the name of Allah I ˹attempt to˺ heal you, and may Allah cure you, from all ailments that harm you.) Take this ˹ruqyah˺ and be blessed.”

الحاكم:٥٦٨١ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثَنَا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ عَنْ مَيْسَرَةَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ

أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يُوعَكُ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَلَا أُعَلِّمُكَ رُقْيَةً رَقَانِي بِهَا جِبْرِيلُ؟» قُلْتُ بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ فَعَلَّمَهُ «(بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ وَاللَّهُ يَشْفِيكَ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ يُؤْذِيكَ) خُذْهَا فَلْتَهْنِكَ»

صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ على شرط مسلم
