"أَنَا دَعْوَةُ أَبِى إبْرَاهيمَ، وَبِشَارَة أَخِى عيسَى ابن مَرْيَمَ، وَلَمَّا وُلْدتُ خرَجَ منْ أُمِّى نُورٌ أَضَاءَ مَا بَيْنَ المَشْرق وَالمَغْربِ، وَيُرْوَى أَضَاءَتْ لَهُ قُصُورُ الشَّامِ" .
[Machine] It was said, "O Messenger of Allah, what was the beginning of your affair?" He said, "The dream of my father Ibrahim and the glad tidings of Isa ibn Maryam, and my mother saw that a light came out from her, illuminating the palaces of the Sham."
قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا كَانَ بُدُوُّ أَمْرِكَ؟ فَقَالَ «دَعْوَةُ أَبِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَبُشْرَى عِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ وَرَأَتْ أُمِّي أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ مِنْهَا نُورٌ أَضَاءَتْ لَهُ قُصُورُ الشَّامِ»
"دَعْوةُ أَبِى إِبْرَاهِيم، وبُشْرَى عِيسَى بنِ مرْيَم، ورَأَتْ أُمِّى أَنَّه خَرَجَ مِنْهَا نُورٌ أَضَاءَتْ لَهُ قُصُورُ الشَّام".
