"إِن مُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ كَانَ رَديفَ النَّبِىِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: بَشِّرِ النَّاس أنَّهُ مَنْ مَاتَ لاَ يُشْرِكُ بِالله شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الجَنَّةَ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّى أَخْشَى أنْ يَتَكِلُوا عَلَيْهَا قَالَ: فَلاَ ".  

[حل] أبى نعيم في الحلية

[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ went out with Mu'adh bin Jabal to the gate, and when he saw him, he said, "O Mu'adh!" Mu'adh replied, "Here I am, O Messenger of Allah." The Prophet said, "Whoever dies without associating anything with Allah will enter Paradise." Mu'adh asked, "O Messenger of Allah, should I not inform the people?" The Prophet said, "Leave them to compete in good deeds, for I fear that they may depend on them (the information) and not strive in worshipping Allah."  

الطبراني:١٧٢٧٣حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا مُعَاذُ بْنُ عَوْذِ اللهِ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَمُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ بِالْبَابِ فَلَمَّا رَآهُ قَالَ «يَا مُعَاذُ» قَالَ لَبَّيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ «مَنْ مَاتَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ» فَقَالَ مُعَاذٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَلَا أُخْبِرُ النَّاسَ؟ قَالَ «دَعْهُمْ فَلْيَتَنَافَسُوا فِي الْأَعْمَالِ فَإِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ يَتَّكِلُوا عَلَيْهَا»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever dies without associating anything with Allah will enter Paradise." Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O Messenger of Allah, should I not give the people the glad tidings?" He said, "I fear that they may rely on it [i.e., on entering Paradise without doing good deeds]."
