"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: 'Convey my Salam to your people, because I know them to be modest and patient.'"

لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ اقْرَأْ قَوْمَكَ السَّلاَمَ فَإِنَّهُمْ مَا عَلِمْتُ أَعِفَّةٌ صُبُرٌ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said to Abu Talhah, "Say greetings to your people, for they are the most knowledgeable about patience and forbearance."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لِأَبِي طَلْحَةَ أَقْرِئْ قَوْمَكَ السَّلَامَ فَإِنَّهُمْ مَا عَلِمْتُ أَعِفَّةٌ صُبُرٌ

[AI] He entered upon the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, while he was in the pain in which he died, and he said, "Say salaam to your people, for indeed they do not know hardship and patience." Authenticated by the chain of narration, but it was not included in Sahih collections.

أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي وَجَعِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ فَقَالَ «أَقْرِئْ قَوْمَكَ السَّلَامَ فَإِنَّهُمْ مَا عَلِمْتُ أَعِفَّةٌ صُبُرٌ» صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ صحيح

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "May Allah reward you, O Ansar, with goodness, for indeed you possess knowledge and patience."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «جَزَاكُمُ اللهُ يَا مَعْشَرَ الْأَنْصَارِ خَيْرًا فَإِنَّكُمْ مَا عَلِمْتُ أَعِفَّةٌ صُبُرٌ»
