That he was in a gathering where the Messenger of Allah was present and he said: "I used to forbid you to eat the sacrificial mea for more than three days, but now eat it, give it to others and store it for as long as you want. And I told you not to make Nabidh in these containers: Ad-Dubba', Al-Muzaqqat, An-Naqir, and Al-Hantam. But now make Nabidh in whatever you want, but avoid everything that intoxicates. And I forbade you to visit graves, but now whoever want to visit them, let him do so, but do not utter anything which is not suitable."

أَنَّهُ كَانَ فِي مَجْلِسٍ فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ أَنْ تَأْكُلُوا لُحُومَ الأَضَاحِي إِلاَّ ثَلاَثًا فَكُلُوا وَأَطْعِمُوا وَادَّخِرُوا مَا بَدَا لَكُمْ وَذَكَرْتُ لَكُمْ أَنْ لاَ تَنْتَبِذُوا فِي الظُّرُوفِ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ وَالنَّقِيرِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ انْتَبِذُوا فِيمَا رَأَيْتُمْ وَاجْتَنِبُوا كُلَّ مُسْكِرٍ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَمَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَزُورَ فَلْيَزُرْ وَلاَ تَقُولُوا هُجْرًا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "I used to forbid you from visiting graves, but now visit them, for they remind you of the hereafter. And I used to forbid you from drinking wine, so avoid it in every vessel, and stay away from every intoxicant. And I used to forbid you from eating the meat of sacrificial animals after three days, so eat and store."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنِّي كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُورُوهَا؛ فَإِنَّهَا تُذَكِّرُ الْآخِرَةَ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ فَانْتَبِذُوا فِي كُلِّ وِعَاءٍ وَاجْتَنِبُوا كُلَّ مُسْكِرٍ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْأَكْلِ لُحُومِ الْأَضَاحِيِّ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ فَكُلُوا وَتَزَوَّدُوا وَادَّخِرُوا

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يَقُولُ جَالَسْتُ النَّبِيّ ﷺ فرأيته كالحزين فقال له رجل مالي أَرَاكَ كَأَنَّكَ حَزِينٌ قَالَ ذَكَرْتُ أَنِّي كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ لُحُومِ الأَضَاحِي أَنْ تَأْكُلُوهَا إلاَّ ثَلاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ فَكُلُوا وَأَطْعِمُوا وَادَّخِرُوا مَا بَدَا لَكُمْ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَمَنْ أَرَادَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَزُورَ قَبْرًا فَلْيَزُرْهُ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنِ الدُّبَّاء وَالْحَنْتَمِ وَالنَّقِيرِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ فَاجْتَنِبُوا كُلَّ مُسْكِرٍ وَاشْرَبُوا فِيمَا بَدَا لَكُمْ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "I used to prohibit you from visiting graves, but now I encourage you to visit them, for they remind you of the Hereafter. And I used to prohibit you from passing in front of others, so avoid doing so in every container. Avoid every intoxicating substance. And I used to prohibit you from eating the meat of sacrificial animals after three days, so eat it, stock it up, and preserve it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنِّي كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُورُوهَا فَإِنَّهَا تُذَكِّرُ الْآخِرَةَ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنِ الْجَرِّ فَانْتَبِذُوا فِي كُلِّ وِعَاءٍ وَاجْتَنِبُوا كُلَّ مُسْكِرٍ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ أَكْلِ لُحُومِ الْأَضَاحِيِّ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ فَكُلُوا وَتَزَوَّدُوا وَادَّخِرُوا»

[AI] The Prophet of Allah, ﷺ , said, "I used to forbid you from visiting graves, but now visit them and make your visit a prayer and seek forgiveness for them. I used to forbid you from eating sacrificial meat after three days, but now eat from it and preserve it. I used to forbid you from using certain animals as throwing objects, such as hyenas, porcupines, and hedgehogs, but now refrain from using them and benefit from them."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنِّي كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُورُوهَا وَاجْعَلُوا زِيَارَتَكمْ لَهَا صَلَاةً عَلَيْهِمْ واسْتِغْفَارًا لَهُمْ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ أَكْلِ لُحُومِ الْأَضَاحِيِّ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ فَكُلُوا مِنْهَا وَادَّخِرُوا وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَمَّا يُنْبَذُ فِي الدُّبَاءِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ وَالْمُقَيَّرِ فَانْتَبِذُوا وَانْتَفِعُوا بِهَا»

"إِنِّى كُنْتُ نَهيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَة الْقبُور فزورُوهَا، وَاجْعَلوا زِيَارَتَكُمْ لهَا صَلاةً عَلَيهِمْ وَاسْتغفَارًا لَهُمْ، ونهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ أَكلِ لُحُومِ الأضَاحِى بَعْدَ ثلاثٍ فَكُلُوا مِنْهَا وَادخِرُوا، ونَهيْتُكُمْ عَمَّا يُنْبَذُ فِى الدُّبَّاءِ والحنتَم والْمُقيَّر فانتَبِذوُا ، وانتَفِعُوا بها".
