"عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ! إِنَّ لَجَمِيعِ صُوَيْحِبَاتِي كُنًى، فَقَالَ: تَكَنَّى بِاسْمِ ابْنِكِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، فَكَانَتْ تُكَّنى عائشة بِأُمِّ عَبْدِ اللهِ".

أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلَا تُكَنِّينِي؟ قَالَ «اكْتَنِّي بِابْنِكِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ» فَكَانَتْ تُكَنَّى أُمَّ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ

[Machine] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, every one of my female companions has a nickname, so if you were to nickname me." He said, "Then I nickname you with the name of your son, Abdullah ibn Zubayr." And she continued to be nicknamed Umm Abdullah until she passed away.

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لِكُلِّ صَوَاحِبَاتِي كُنًى فَلَوْ كَنَّيْتَنِي قَالَ «فَاكْتَنِي بِابْنِكِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ» وَكَانَتْ تُكَنَّى أُمَّ عَبْدِ اللهِ حَتَّى مَاتَتْ
